I went down on a business trip. The organization I was visiting up me up there. It was a tropical oasis. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They didn't have a restaurant but would cook your dinner to order. Both dinners I had were delicious. Same with breakfast. I have visited a lot of developing countries so when I... More

A very nice small hotel for a stop-over or a few nights stay if you need to be n Managua. Good location if your activities are mainly south of Managua, it is only 4 blocks walk from the main highway to Masaya-Granada (km 8) where there are some shops. If you travel with your own vehicle, you can park inside.... More

We stayed here for 1 night before our flight to Panama. As other reviewers have put it: it's not great but ok for a good nights sleep. The rooms are clean, but small. The staff is nice, but only the owner speaks english. The facilities include a little garden with hammocks and a pool, but the pool water is so... More

The building & its lush grounds are gorgeous. The owner, Young Lau is extremely helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. He has a great staff of friendly folks as well. Our room was just big enough for a giant & very comfortable queen bed, 2 small night stands & a bureau. Shower water pressure was amazing. Complimentary omelet breakfast was yummy.

I've stayed in many places in Managua and overall Managua Hills is by far my favorite. Great location, safe, and quiet. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and quiet, so much that you forget where you are in Managua! Breakfast is included with your stay and by far the best breakfast. Rooms are... More

Great first night stay after long flight. Very helpful when making arrangements prior to stay over email. Arrangements made for pick up from airport, reasonable and fair price. The 2 rooms we booked family and double, were clean and comfortable. The setting was very quiet and a nice contrast from the busy city. Breakfast was included and freshly made. Would... More

We stayed here upon our arrival in Nicaragua (for our only night in Managua). The atmosphere was very relaxed, especially thanks to the inside garden and pool, and breakfast served on the terrace in the morning was really nice. Our room was huge and clean, and they had arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, so... More

We were only here 1 night before we caught a flight to the corn islands but very enjoyable stay. They were very prompt on getting back to me with reservations and answering questions. My husband swam in the pool and I enjoyed the quiet and visited with a few of the other guest using the pool. Felt very safe when walking... More

We spent our first night in Nicaragua at Managua Hills, after arriving on an evening flight. Young Lau is a terrific owner/manager, very responsive to emails before our travels. He had arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport and deliver us to MH, which went without any problems. Met several other North American travelers as well as... More

I stayed here three times and it was always a good time. I stayed in the dorm room which was quite inexpensive considering the nice place they have and the pool (also breakfast was included). The Hotel is situated in one of the best areas of Managua and therefore it is really safe. Contacting the owner works perfectly and he... More
