This is my third time at the resort. The first time gave me an okay impression, seeing as we only stayed one night. The second time we stayed a whole week and it become very boring. There was really nothing to do. The activitives were all the same as well as the shows. The food is okay, but having the... more

Of course there are always a few tiny negatives - when the tide is out the beach is less inviting and, after two weeks, the buffet is a little repetitive.... more

If you've read about the Decameron's many amenities and beautiful location, it may seem like paradise. As you drive up to the resort, it might seem that you've reached the perfect vacation destination. Do not be fooled. While there are some nice elements to this resort, there are just too many negatives for me to declare it a postitive experience.... more

To start with my wife and I are reasonable in our expectations. You get what you pay for. In the last year we have spend 2 holidays in a borderline 5 star resort in Roatan (infinity bay) and then at the other end of the spectrum a last minute Carnival cruise where we paid little and had a small cabin... more

First time i stayed there, everything was good, the place was a dream. Second time around, the staff overcharged me for a long distance calls and refused to accept responsibility, i was hounded by front desk because i booked from expedia they needed me to contact them so decameron could get the payment... ridiculous. not to mention the "would you... more

Whoever you are talking that this hotel is terrible you are just talking bs. I am a person that travels a lot and have been in a very luxurious resorts and hotels. Decameron may not have all the explendor that the other places have, but it has its own unique beauty, It is very clean. I do agree with you... more

We just returned from a week at the Royal Decameron Salinitas and I would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone. It was a fabulous trip and very good value. Our arrival/check-in was seamless - although travelling there was a long day (3 hour drive to Toronto, 3 hour wait at the airport, 5 hour flight, 2 hour bus trip to... more
