Pros: safe/secure location, amazing ladies working who will do anything for you, clean/comfortable rooms, reasonably priced, free breakfast, free wifi, wake-up calls and taxi arrangements. I'm not sure who worked here before (as per the reviews below), but in June 2014 there were several really nice women working here who went out of their way to help us during our... More

The owners of this hostel are the best part. They are very warm, welcoming and helpful. They always go out of their way to give you the information you need to see the city. We had the private with terrace and it was roomy and clean. Breakfast is also nice!

We chose this hostel because of location, not wanting to be too on edge walking around. The room was fine with a hot water shower that wasn't a suicide shower - amazing! It came with cable TV too. The only downside was that the fan didn't work and when I asked in reception about it, the two members of staff... More

They do not have lockers readily available. The rooms have no locks. We were the ONLY guests in the hostel and even though our money was tucked at the very bottom of our bags everyone of the four of us mysterious was missing $40-50 each at the end of our short two night stay!!! BE CAREFUL, LOCK YOUR BAGS!!

What a wonderful, clean, hospitable place this turned out to be. The place was comfortable, staff pleasant and breakfast was a treat in the mornings. The staff also had plenty of information. The gave me all directions for buses and immigration office.

Stayed here twice unfortunately. First time in a private with bathroom for $20. Room was fine, had aircon but still extremely hot. Staff were not friendly but did make us breakfast before our 7am bus. Second time we had a private with bath but to pay only $20 we couldn't have breakfast. Had a 3am bus and arranged with very... We have been to this hostel twice and stayed in 3 different rooms, all of which have been good. They are a bit dingey and hot but we slept fine. The only problems we had were trying to work out how much we had to pay. The receptionist gave us several prices for the same room which depended on use... More

We came to San Salvador very last minute, and our taxi thankfully took us here when we requested a hostel - and we couldn't have been happier! The staff there were so warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and the hostel is equipped with all you need. It also includes a tasty breakfast. Can't say very much about the... More

This is a wonderful hostel. The staff are so happy, smiley, friendly and helpful, along with the manager - they did everything in their power to ensure we had a great stay. We walked in and got room number 5 which was perfect for our stay - there is a tv with dvds, a bathroom and even our very own... More

Nearly didn't stay here because of the previous review. So glad we did, totally different experience. Lonely Planet online review says room 5 is one of the best deals in town and they are right, it was $25 for a double with bathroom, TV and own patio area. Breakfast was included and was good, eggs and pancakes. Staff were friendly.... More
