The entranceway is just a facade until you get off the elevator and head to your room. Patchy wiring, old worn wood paneling on the wall and the bathrooms....yikes. If you decide to hit the morning breakfast buffet the menu will be opulence with a side of snooty wait staff who will look down on you-delicious. After finding out a... More

The location of this hotel is perfect. The hotel itself is very normal. The rooms are little and a little old, but on vacations i´m the kind of perswon who leaves in the morening and arrives late at night, so it didn´t bother much

I visited Kiev on business at the end or March 2015, stayed for almost 12 days. I thought I play it safe and booked the Single economy, the room came with two single beds. I should have gone with the Single standard. The room came with a balcony and the views was AMAZING!!! The room had a small desk (TV... More

Two other similar hotels are within two blocks but I picked Dnipro because of the sauna. I can stay there again if the price is right but next time will definitely stay elsewhere as this one has no compelling pluses. o Great location at one end of the main street Khreschatyk and within 5 to 20 minute walk to most... I stayed here 3 nights with my girlfriend in a lovely spacious suite. The views from the room were great but worth visiting the panoramic restaurant to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and excellent menu. The wellness centre is small but adequate (we were the only people using the pool and sauna at that time) although it seems unreasonable to charge... More

Stayed there while going to watch Everton in UEFA Cup, arrived a day late due to flights, room was held for us. The room it's self was basic but a good size. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was excellent. Overall I would stay there again if I ever visited the wonderful city of Kiev!

I recently stated the Dnipro, and I really enjoyed my stay. I loved the classical style interior. My suite was very comfortable and had a great view of Kiev. The bathroom was perfect. The staff, unlike so many westerns hotels that give robotic replies, were friendly and informative. Room service was fast and inexpensive. Panorama restaurant was superb. This hotel... More

This hotel is in centre kiev near everywhere you would want to go, independence square, lavra. good breakfast spread, decent restaurants and amenities. The staff was courteous, but the bed was horrible, like sleeping on a wood plank, only reason i wouldn't stay there again. And very slow wifi, open network.

I paid $35 a night for a standard room. The room size was about average by European standards. I've stayed at far smaller rooms for triple the price in other European countries. The room in Hotel Dnipro, and the hotel overall, is quite a bit outdated. So if it's luxury you seek, seek elsewhere. The hotel restaurant is, however, quite... More

i liked hotel a lot-architecture is wonderful and in many ways the E European service was welcome after the falsensss of so much western 'customer service'. I found staff genuine, helpful and amenable. Speaking with them enhanced my understanding of post Soviet Ukraine. food is good and live piano player at breakfast and in skylight restaurant is charming. .
