Nice location not far from Metro.. but hotel was almost empty because of the Maidan issues. In the room I had.. (721) bed was so hard,, in fact it was just a box spring. Not a mattress. Kind of like sleeping on the floor, I had enough of that in the Armed Forces in Iraq, so I left the hotel... More

The hotel is nicely situated in Kiev within an easy walk to the river and the city center. Breakfast is average but apart from filter coffee any other type costs extra. Rooms vary, I was in a small (but clean) room, a colleague of mine in a large one. The food in the restaurant was average, you could find much... More

A good solution for someone who want to discover Kiev, close to Dnipro river, the heart center & the beautiful hills. Renovated area is very nice for a 4star hotel. The rest area must be renovated a.s.a.p. Breakfast under the piano live music is something you do not see every day. Good food, cleaning sense in low level but only... More

This is still a state run hotel and it shows in the level of service offered. Several floors are very old fashioned though floor 7 is ok with comfortable enough rooms (other reviews about hard beds are fair comments). My room had a safe and reasonable free wifi. Old fashioned tv and no coffee machine. Floors 5 and 6 appear... More

The room was functional, clean enough and just okay for a short stay - very small, very beige, very dated. I had a single room and the smallest single bed I have ever seen, but it was comfortable enough and I slept well. I was with a tour group and really only there for breakfast and to sleep, but it... The hotel is a little dated in the bedrooms, so I would recommend an upgrade from the basic room. I have stayed here a couple of times and the better rooms are comfortable, clean and functional. The hotel bar and gentlemans club might not be for most, so use the hotel as a base to go and explore the rest... More

I stayed here for about a week and was ripped off. I had jewelry and DVD's with me and they were all stolen. When I confronted the management about this they didn't even blink an eye. They were very uncooperative and dismissed the matter almost as soon as I brought it up. In addition, the doorman there served as a... More

The hotel is very well located. The room was ok, clean and kind of old in its decor, the bathroom was functioning but the bed was terrible. It felt like we were sleeping on hard wood! The breakfast was very nice.

The hotel is very well located in the very centre of the city, close to Dnipro River. Rooms, at least mine, are rather oldish - soviet style - but quite bearable. Free wifi, very good breakfasts with live music. All of it for a very good price - makes you forget shabby but clean bathroom. I would definitely recommend it... More

Well it's a big hotel with very different rooms. So if you'll happen to stay in economy class rooms as I was - it's not so nice and pretty worn out. The corridor reminds an old soviet students house, no tea or coffee sets, no fridge in economy class rooms. My room had normal windows, as my colleague was staying... More
