Great location in the heart of Kyiv. The outside you think “oh no” but the rooms are excellent. There is everything you need and modern interior done to a high standard. Stayed here many times in many different rooms and they are all different some slightly better than others but overall for the price you get your moneys worth. Cleaners come daily and rooms have a kitchen and washing machine. Highly recommend for anyone on a budget, but wanting somewhere nice to stay.

The rooms are quirky but nice and the location is great. We stayed twice in two different rooms/apartments. The first was very small but manageable. The second was better. The service was ok but truly inconsistent and most didn’t speak English sufficiently to ask questions. The entrance area and courtyard are poorly maintained and the lift/elevator is in abysmal condition. Small and unreliable. It broke down whilst we were there and we had to walk up and down to the fifth floor!!! Really not good. The shower in the second one was in the bath and the sides of the bath were simply too high making it truly challenging!!!

The location of hotel is very good, close to metro and to city centre. Each our request from staff was solved. The apartments after 1st day was cleaned and nice ordered, Couple things to improve: 1. We arrived at night (23:00). The apartment was not ready for our arrive : the boiler was switched off and it took time until it provided hot water, the bedding was for a couple, so night staff had to bring another set of bedding. They did not find another bedding set, since it was in cleaning. 2. I do not know if it was included in their service, but bottle of water and a bag of tea they could provide to the guests that arrive at night, without any possibility to buy them due to closed stores or no local money for buying 3. They knew that my family arrived with 2 little children, however, they provided us apartment on the 3rd floor with the elevator for one amateur could enter there. That was a real "adventure" for us to lift trolly each day to the third floor. 4. Jacuzzi was not maintained. Each time we tried to start it the smell of sewage was starting to come out. I talked to staff and they tried to solve it, but nothing was changed. At all 8/10

The Theatre Boutique Apart-Hotel is located in the very city centre. It is very easy to access with the reception open 24/7. There's a coffee shop next door open 24/7 which was very handy. The hotel is very close to the ZUM (Central Department Store), a theater and a lot of nice cafes around. It is the best place to stay. I stayed in Loft room which I highly recommend. The design of the room was very nice. Everything was new and perfectly clean. The room had a balcony which was also nice. Cheaper rooms are not as nice as the Loft ones. The hotel provides receipts and required documents if required for those travelling for business. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I travel frequently to Kiev and will return to the same place again.

Great location. We could walk everywhere. Loved the little kitchen (very handy if, like me, you are gluten free and need to prepare food to take with/packed lunch). Excellent service. We forgot something in our room. The staff were brilliant at finding it, sorting out packing and posting. It got to the UK safe. Can't thank them enough!!

Location within the city is great, but the actual location of the hotel is very daunting. Its through an alleyway and then a very dark courtyard with lots of characters loitering. Very noisy, you can hear what they talking next room, the bed is not comfortable you can feel all mattress spring .The lift it was the smallest one I have ever seen! Photos are nothing like the photos on the websites its advertised on, I booked through bookings.com , better to book hotel with breakfast for same money 2 street far away Rooms were clean when arrived but weren't cleaned during stay for 8 nights. This apart hotel is far from being boutique, nothing was boutique about it,Probably ,100% wouldn't book again but would love to visit Kiev again

Location within the city is great, but the actual location of the hotel is very daunting. Its through an alleyway and then a very dark courtyard with lots of characters loitering. Not a very welcoming place at all. Never used the lift but it was the smallest one I have ever seen! Photos are nothing like the photos on the websites its advertised on, I booked through bookings.com Staff dont speak english, that wasn't an issue for us, we used google translate and communicated just fine, but worth a mention. Rooms were clean when arrived but weren't cleaned during our stay for 3 nights. Probably wouldn't book again but would love to visit Kiev again

We booked for 3 nights 10th January and ended up checking out at 9 o’clock on the evening and going to the Radisson Pro’s the location (and that’s all I can think of) We had no problem finding the hotel, we jumped into a Uber from the airport and followed the instruction the hotel sent in the morning, like other reviews I read the bad points about the small lifts and receptionist not being able to speak English etc but none of this was a problem until we got to our room, we didn’t have a room in the same block as the reception we had to go out side into the courtyard and gain entrance via a different block, the hall ways and corridors were not for the faint hearted, we were on the 5th floor and had no choice than to try and fit into the smallest lift you have ever seen. To get to our room you had to enter a door on the 5th floor and then take a separate stair case to our floor, which had two other rooms. We dropped our bags off and firstly noticed the room was nothing like the photos on the website, we went for food and a walk around and by 7 we were back in our room ready for a early night, we ran a bath but as someone has mentioned before there wasn’t enough hot water to fill so it’s pointless having a spa bath, both of our neighbours who were residents in the apartment block were having a party and using the communal landing as a dance floor, we tired to get to sleep but the noise was unbearable (videos taken) we went to reception to check out but the receptionist couldn’t speak English so she called her manager and we spoke to him over the phone. We got a Uber and checked into the Radisson and tried to contact booking.com to get a full refund but the hotel wouldn’t refund us for the night we stayed (although we checked out and didn’t even stay the night) We may have been the unlucky ones to have a room nothing like the photos or being stuck next to two residents who decided the 10th January they would have a party to end all party’s. This apart hotel is far from being boutique, nothing was boutique about it, with lights not working in the bathroom to not enough hot water to have a full bath, to curtains coming away from the window, to cupboards falling off in your hands and a cheap £5 rail to hang your clothes.

Despite our unwelcoming greeting by the member of staff on the desk and the initial appearance of the hotel when we arrived, our room itself was incredible. Clean, luxurious and modern. All the amenities you could need, including a microwave, kettle, hob and not to mention a TV with Netflix! The hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of Kiev, convenient to all the nearest tourist hotspots, as well as the metro and a load of restaurants and shops. Don’t judge a book by its cover!

To start off this review I have to be honest and express that this hotel is far far far from ‘boutique.’ It is situated through an alleyway and near a hostel. Had I not had the hotel arrange airport transfers I doubt I would’ve found it alone as I recall no clear signage. The reception is completely separate from the apartments and requires you to go through password locked doors. The passwords are emailed to you in advance though. The staff on reception didn’t know much English but check in was fairly straight forward. A member of staff then showed us to our room which was on the 6th floor. There is a lift up 5 floors but the 6th floor is only accessible by steps. The lift in itself is literally tiny and would probably not fit a person and full sized suitcase in it. The room itself was fine.. a bit dusty but ok. The bed was uncomfortable but the sofa bed was quite comfy. The walls are very thin and you can hear conversations from the rooms next door and god help you if they put their jacuzzi bath tub on! So loud. Speaking of the bath tub I was scared to use the jacuzzi function as the tub looked like it needed a good clean!! If I’d have known the entrance to the apartment and accessibility was like it was I probably wouldn’t have stayed here as it was quite daunting at night. Also it seems good that the hotel will arrange transfers from the airport for you but be warned it worked out twice as expensive as Uber.
