I stayed here for a night following BA failing to fix a plane on the tarmac. Due to the lack of coordination and direction from BA, we didn't get to the hotel till late. Everything about the hotel was slick. The rooftop bar was especially good with an excellent feel and great views of the city. Only downside is the... More

Hotel is located in an amazing location amidst cultural and heritage buildings. Check in was prompt and to my surprise, compared to many Eastern European hotels, great smiles and friendly staff! I loved the complimentary wifi as well as minibar...what a great idea! Food at Olivera (all day dining) was great and staff are so accommodating and efficient. Rooms are... More

My wife and I stayed at the Intercontinental for 3 nights as part of a short vacation to Ukraine. The hotel is, as are all high end hotels in Kiev, expensive, if you are paying; but we found the service and the facility to be exceptional. We used Priority Club points on this occasion. I began planning for this trip... More

First let me say that travel to Ukraine in the dead of winter is something to reconsider. having said that, it was especially pretty there with deep snow covering all the churches and monuments. That was my impression pulling up outside the Intercontinental in a beat up cab. The Hotel is clearly new yet designed to look like a stately... More

You can call to reception — and have no answer. Sometime slow, sometime lazy, sometimes forgetting staff — the only black spot at this nice hotel.

We originally booked the Radisson hotel in Kiev but after trying to sleep on their terrible beds we quickly moved over to the Intercontinental. It was an added bonus that the Intercontinental has a pool as well, which we enjoyed. The hotel is a bit pricey but offers relatively good value and its location is excellent. The lobby is spacious... More

Excellently appointed stylish hotel with modern amenities right in the centre of Kiev. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The best lifts in town. Appreciated the free minibar (beer and soft drinks). Excellent choice at the breakfast buffet (strongly disagree with the criticism of an earlier reviewer on this). Overall, the best hotel I've stayed in for a long time.

I got a great deal at this hotel and except for a minor hiccup at booking in it was a great stay. This is now my hotel of choice if I cannot check into the Opera. A great plus is the free mini bar which I thought was a great touch. The location as I said in my previous review... More

Stayed for 3 nights in June, location is obviously amazing, rooms are not huge even in the higher categories but as usual well appointed. Staff is extremely helpful, concierge is very efficient. Spa is a bit so-so, no real organisation down there, massages are done by a thai girl that doesnt speak english nor russian which is rather strange, other... More

One of the best experiences I have had traveling the former Soviet Union. I used the VIP service for my arrival and was immediately whisked from the airport to the hotel with no problems at customs or passport control. I chose to use this because the room was free by using my points and I thought I would splurge a... More
