I escorted my handicapped 84-year old mother on an overseas odyssey, 07JUN-29JUL2014, that terminated 2 weeks early due her suffering AMS in Lhasa, Tibet. My planning for this excursion used Istanbul, Turkey, as the hinge; we spent the first month going ads far West as Wales, the second month going as far East as Hong Kong. It was during the... More

The HOSTEL was one of many pleasant surprises during our stay in Belgrade - nice decoration all over the place,a lot of space in rooms, toilets and balcony, adorably friendly staff and location right in the heart of the centre (across bus/railway/tram station) Anyways,we had a lovely weekend and 2 more days in the city and I can still recall this feeling... This is an average hostel but not bad by any standards. the beds are clean and the showers are hot. There is no common room but there are 2 computers available for use. Conveniently close to the station as the name would suggest. an excellent place to crash after two successive night trains ( we spent 29 hours on trains... More

The hostel is directly across from the bus/train station so you can't miss the hostel - just look for the ugliest building on the block. Go up one flight of stairs and the situation improves, friendly and helpful staff took me to my single room, which was large and the twin beds were comfortable. The shared bathroom down the hall... NO PRIZES for being smooth or flash, but a good place to crash after a hard day's travel. Location is the best feature, being adjacent to the train and 'bus stations, also where the transport from the airport dumps the passengers. Belgrade city centre is a twenty minute walk, with 'the other' 'bus station about fifteen minutes away, a right... More

This hostel is across the bus station and that is the only positive thing about it. Otherwise, it is small and crowded, really dirty, stained sheets, no toilet privacy, loud...eve though we had a reservation for the next night, the staff told us that we have to be accommodated in another hostel, because they've rented our beds (during the night)...It... This hostel is located 15-20mins walk from the centre of town, not the best neighborhood by far... The office lady we dealt with was by far the worst hostel staff I have ever dealt with. No local information or hostel info, google was our friend. There is no air con in the rooms only communal areas. It's not worth the... More

Great location, right accross from the train/bus station, this hostel mostly features dorms (there seemed to be one or two private rooms). The hostel is rather big. Bathrooms are rather spacious and clean, although there was a queue for the shower in the morning. The staff were very friendly and everything went smoothly when I visited. There are no common... This hostel's central location, right across from both the train and bus stations, is very convenient. Staff is friendly and the hostel is clean. In summer, the annex, to the back of the main hostel, is opened up as well, and that old wooden construction is a very nice place to stay in. The main building isn't bad, but just... More
