I have to start this review by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at the restaurant here at the Hotel Slavija III. It may sound simple, mushroom soup, green salad, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and cake, but when simple things are done to perfection, that tops any other creative or inventive fare one can find at fancier restaurants, at... The rooms are nice and clean. The location is a bit off from starigrad, but still within walking distance. Breakfast is quite good and the service is ok. Basically a standard hotel and nothing fancy. Better than the other Slavjia.

Need a place to spend the night to catch an early flight at the airport. As I was planning to spend most of the day exploring the city the central location and the price ($70) were very appealing when I booked. The hotel is located less that a 5 Euro cab ride or 30 minute walk from all the major... More

I stayed in this hotel due to business travel for 1,5 week. The location of the hotel is reasonable and the room was big. Breakfast was guite good and the beds and bathrooms were clean. But that's about it. The hotel is stuck to 70's and not in a good way. All the walls are covered with heavy dark wooden... More

It is a popular hotel at a good location. On a walking distance from city's landmarks. Standard is pretty basic but is clean. Staff is friendly and nice like people in Belgrade. Reasonable breakfast. Will recommend as a budget hotel. Airport shuttle right next to it which is v convenient.

I chose this hotel because there is a bus from Belgrade airport which stops in front of the hotel. The buses depart every 20 minutes each way, I believe, so this is very convenient if you are travelling alone and aren't really sure of the local taxi services. A single journey costs RSD300 which is about GBP2.15 The bus makes... More

Air Serbia arrived late and gave us vouchers for Hotel Slavija. I asked the lovely Air Serbia lady: 'Is it a nice hotel?' 'It is Hotel Slavija...' she replied grimly and with feeling. The reception area was dark and grubby, a striking contrast from the evening reception lady who was immaculately beautiful. The lift creaked and screamed like a pterodactyl... More

Air Serbia put me up in this hotel along with a number of other passengers who had missed connecting flights in Belgrade. It looked as though it was intact since 1960; the lobby was dingy and dirty, and full of drug dealers and pimps. I felt exceedingly unsafe, despite having come from five days in Sarajevo where I had a... More

Good central location with everything on a walking distance. Taxi stands in front of hotel as well as direct bus transfer to airport for just RSD 300 (€2,60). Very friendly personnel. Rooms are ready for renovation, but ok. Was here for a fortnight in a senior suite (60m2) for just €51 per night incl. breakfast. Have booked for another fortnight.
