I stayed at the Hotel Slavija III at the end of September for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff were very courteous and friendly and the location was perfect - buses at door, 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops, 5 minutes straight down the road to the main train station. The airport bus stops right outside.... More

Mel Brooks once said of Yugoslavia during the Tito era "The whole country looked like it was lit by a 15 watt bulb." This hotel pretty much sums it up. It was obviously a showplace during the communist era, but it hasn't been facelifted since the 70s. It's dark. It's poorly maintained. It's dirty. The front desk clerk tried to... More

This hotel was fine for a reasonably priced short stay in Belgrade. It is clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. On the down side, it is quite dingy (apart from the bar which is lit like a branch of Tesco) and could do with a refurb. It is on a busy roundabout so quite noisy. There is... More

+ Room as such ok and clean - Window towards backyard (really dark and noisy) - 2 nights in a row somebody was trying to enter silently my room (in the second night the hotel had guys chasing the thief) - AQ not cooling .. really humid and sticky room Try to sleep in a sticky room knowing that outside... I only stayed here a couple nights and it was great. The staff was super, the breakfast very good, and the room was lovely for a single traveler. The building is beautiful and a short walk to all major touristy areas and train station.

I have to start this review by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at the restaurant here at the Hotel Slavija III. It may sound simple, mushroom soup, green salad, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and cake, but when simple things are done to perfection, that tops any other creative or inventive fare one can find at fancier restaurants, at... The rooms are nice and clean. The location is a bit off from starigrad, but still within walking distance. Breakfast is quite good and the service is ok. Basically a standard hotel and nothing fancy. Better than the other Slavjia.

Need a place to spend the night to catch an early flight at the airport. As I was planning to spend most of the day exploring the city the central location and the price ($70) were very appealing when I booked. The hotel is located less that a 5 Euro cab ride or 30 minute walk from all the major... More

I stayed in this hotel due to business travel for 1,5 week. The location of the hotel is reasonable and the room was big. Breakfast was guite good and the beds and bathrooms were clean. But that's about it. The hotel is stuck to 70's and not in a good way. All the walls are covered with heavy dark wooden... More

It is a popular hotel at a good location. On a walking distance from city's landmarks. Standard is pretty basic but is clean. Staff is friendly and nice like people in Belgrade. Reasonable breakfast. Will recommend as a budget hotel. Airport shuttle right next to it which is v convenient.
