In general OK. But for the status of "hotel" is not clean at all... and not modern also. We didn't have a control for the a/c... plus very bad windows! at least they changed or towels. It's totally in the city center and you can get to all the nice places around. that was really good! They have a very... More

Belgrade is somewhat short in the "affordable hotel" category and the Royal has a lot of pluses considering this fact. Most important is its location which is a few minutes walk from the main Pedestrian Street which is filled with a combination of Balkan and Mittel Europa charm. The remodeled rooms are merely average, and are furnished in a very... More

The hotel is partially renovated, could use a few touch ups but location makes up for the lack. Bar and kitchen are open though the night with very reasonable prices, with live sports and/or live music. The room i stayed in was decent and clean. No mini bar in the rooms but as the kitchen and bar are open all... More

In February I stayed twice in this hotel. The first time I had a room on the second floor, another night on the first floor. The first room was somewhat ok, but I was just in the shower concluded that the missing towels. Room of the first floor is old, electrical wires in the bathroom are unprotected. Carpet in the... Ok, let's precise something before starting: an hotel must be clean, must have breakfast, must be in a good position, and if possible must let you feel "safe". Everything you want more, it's up to you. And of course, you must pay if you want more. I was in this hotel in Belgrade centre two times, and both times I was... More

On a tight budget I have stayed here a few times. Breakfast is average, but the accompanying drinks are abysmal (tea, coffee, juice). Desk staff and breakfast staff have changed this year, mostly for the worse, but two of the three desk staff were friendly and efficient. The refurbished rooms on 2nd floor are OK for the price, being clean... More

The hotel is old, but in an excellent location. I spent 2 nights in this hotel. The first night was uncomfortable - toilet didn't work and cockroaches (mainly small, but also one giant roach (now dead)) only in the bathroom. Slept with the light on in the bedroom. No other members of my group had any problems with roaches. Changed... More
