For our first in a hostel, we do not have at all was disappointed. We stayed in a room for 2 with private bathroom for 2 nights. The reception was perfect, the staff was pleasant, smiling, listening to all residents and great advice on things to do in Belgrade. It feels like home with the warm atmosphere that prevails there.... More

This hostel is, I think, adapted apartment, one of those huge high ceiling apartments that were built in the beginning of the 20th century. It has a strong theme that gives it a lot of character, totally unexpected from the house exterior. We stayed in "En suite Apartment" (for lazy convenience), double bedroom equipped with air conditioning, big plasma TV... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in may 2013. The hostel is located very well in the center of Belgrade (basically walking distance to everything: Knez Mihaljova, Kalemegdan, Strahinjica Bana, Skadarska, etc.) On first arrival (by train from Novis Sad) it was a bit tricky to find, as there are actually two parts of Nusiceva Ul., but once arrived we received... On very short notice I booked a room in Hostel Montmartre in Belgrade and arrived in the middle of the night...every thing was prepared and I received a very warm welcome. In the following days and nights if I needed ANYTHING (how-to-go-to-xyz, how-to-get-there-by-public-transport, what-supermarket-is-open-on-christmas, etc...) I got all necessary information. Hygiene is very good. Kitchen and fridge, wireless internet, big... More

The hostel is less then 5 min walk from Knez Mihajlova, the elegant pedestrian street. It is my second stay here and absolutely love it! Like many of the buildings in Belgrade, this one too, desperately needs a new facade, however, inside is gorgeous. I suppose the building must have been build in 1930s in Art Deco style and this... If and when you get up 'cojones' to go to Belgrade, you should stay here. It is located within a 3 min walk from both pedestrian districts and all kinds of other tourist attractions, staffed all night, and very clean. In addition, it's quipped with everything you need if you just want to chill out because you've been partying for... More

The wife and I were traveling around the Balkans staying in all classes of lodgings. In belgrade there is a shortage of lodging so we decided on Montmartre. It was a great place easily walkable to most tourist sites. Don't let the entrance to the hostel set your expectations. We had the on suite double which was comfortable. Dusan the... More

I really like staying in hostels. I think most travelers will agree with me. It is not only the price but the experience, the people you meet...I stayed in Montmartre Hostel first time last year for a week and as soon as I walked in I realized that this was a really great place. Staff is so helpful and friendly,... More

Just got back from 3 nights at the Montmartre and had a great time. Location is great, easy to get around the city. The staff were so friendly and helpful - on arrival they showed us a map of the city and pointed out the best places to go to, the things we needed to see, and advised on their... More
