The staff credibility is really poor. We made a reservation here, which was confirmed 3 days after it was made, and then cancelled 3 hours later. So at the end, you can not be sure if you have a room here after a trip of 9 hours!

I have traveled all over Europe and this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in, as a solo traveler it is important to be able to meet like minded travelers and friendly staff who enjoy engaging with their guests. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and well presented the hostel was, many other hostels are a bit... More

I went to Belgrade as a group of 12 and stayed in Backpackers Lounge Hostel. The staff were amazing; very friendly and accommodating. There are 4 Bedrooms (2x 8bed, 1x 4bed and 1x 2bed), 3 bathrooms (one ensuite with the 4bed) and a lounge area. It really did feel like a home from home. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here as part of a group trip to Belgrade. This hostel was absolutely fantastic! The beds were very comfortable, everything was cleaned very regularly and the hostel had everything even hairdryers, free washing machine use and internet. The staff were lovely and did absolutely everything they could to make us feel welcome from giving us advice and playing... More

Stayed September 2009. Thank you Phil for giving me "the Serbian Experience"! ;) Fantastic hostel with an amazing location and even better staff. Really does feel like you're just crashing at a mate's place.

The Backpackers' Lounge was in large part responsible for all the fun I had in Belgrade last year, so there was no way I was going to stay anywhere else when I returned to Serbia. Though there are over 60 hostels in town, I wouldn't book anywhere else. You can't beat the location (who would want to stay near the... More

The hostel is situated just next to the shopping street Knez Mihajlova, really center. I arrived without having an address, just the street highlighted on my map and it was easy to find it. 20 m from the entrance there is a 24 hour open shop, really conveniant. It's like a bigger apartment, 3 dorms, for maybe 20 people, beds... More

If you are coming to Belgrade, then this is definitely the place to stay! Natalija and the rest of the staff were awesome! They even took us for a night out on the town two days in a row! The beds are comfy, the location is perfect, there is a kitchen, and two big common rooms. The Backpackers' Lounge is... More
