I've been in Belgrade two years ago and "accidentaly" arrived around the train station area where Green Studio Hostel resides. The place is one of the cheapest places to stay in Belgrade and has the best staff. With their own bar, just down the street, Green Studio takes care of its guests with local rakia and beers on the house.... More

I cannot say enough bad things about this hostel. From the unhelpful, borderline rude staff to the disgusting state of the hostel down the street from the lounge, I would never recommend this hostel to anyone unless you were absolutely broke and had nowhere else to go that night. It's doable, definitely, but before staying in this hostel I had... More

Cheap hostel, good location (between bus&train station and city center). The staff was friendly, although toilets weren't very clean (and without toilet paper). They offered you a welcome shot of rakija (you can take one whenever you want though), and as I said, the staff was very nice.

My friend and I have been in Belgrade luckily just for one night, because this hostel was a nightmare: old and dirty common room, sheets full of hairs, disgusting bathroom, loud music from downstairs till night, somebody visiting our room during the night (??)... The great thing, though, is that the position is great. It tries to be a "party... More

I stayed here for two nights almost eight years ago. I chose this hostel as it was close to the intercity bus depot. At the time, the building/address was somewhat difficult to find. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. However, it wasn't clear who actually owned/worked at the hostel and who was there just to hang out/party... More

This hostel has a bottle of free unlimited local liquor in the lounge area and they did my laundry for free. For 5 Euros a night I'm super satisfied. The guys that work here are really friendly, its really close to the train station a little hidden but definitely worth it.

Great hostel to stay with friends or to meer people. They have a seperate bar/meeting room where people hang out. The staff is very friendly and will help you get to know Serbia! The town is a short walk away although the party boats and the fort are a little further away.

Don't be scared by the review down there -- apparently these guys didn't understand one thing: the LOUNGE is for PARTY, the HOSTEL (100 meters down the road) if for SLEEPING! I don't know about the dorm upstairs of the lounge, didn't go there, I guess you should avoid it, and if that's the only place left, well try another... More

Conveniently close to the train station however in Belgrade if you miss something it could be gone for hours such is the chaotic (complete lack of a) street plan in this city. The hostel was perfectly clean and the staff were lovely. The real advantage of this hostel is if you want to meet people to go out with. The... More
