I decided to visit Bucharest to go to the Opera (£9 for a ticket to Aida - but that's another review) and picked this hotel because it was an easy ten minute walk from the opera house and I thought I would rather walk back easily at night and may be have to do more travelling during the day. About 20 mins walk to the old town My room overlooked the main road, best to request a quiet room away from main road-mot it's like sounding horns here! Breakfast very basic Staff really friendly Room was not of the large type, but bed comfortable The shower was a hand held effect over the bath

Hotel Venezia is a really well located hotel. It's a short walk from the Palace of the Parliament , about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the old town but if you want to take it easy, hop on a bus (a great and cheap way to travel) and you'll be in the old town in just a few... More

the location of the hotel is perfect , it's 3 minutes away from the city center , there is a nearby public park , and a plenty of stores and restaurants , the hotel is small and old , that's what makes it nice to stay in , the staff is welcoming and the service is good considering there is... I loved the building and place Kogalniceanu itself: I had a room over the main place and the place looked very nice and relaxing. Internet is working very well, the bathroom is huge, furniture is abundant, the staff is friendly and not invasve. Breakfast lacks of sweet options (a sacrifice for Italians....desite the name the owner is not an Italian... More

Just enjoyed the generous and included in the price buffet breakfast at the Venezia. As I ate, I soaked in the historical surroundings while friendly staff kept the buffet stocked and hot. My room is cozy and quiet, has all the comforts one might need to relax and, importantly, free wifi with a strong signal. There's a good selection of... More

This hotel was fantastic. from the moment we walked in and saw the venetian masks on the wall, we knew it was going to be a great stay. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was equally good. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The location was very good

Hotel with brilliant location and friendly, polite staff. Few things I don't like at all are : old and full of stains carpet at the room, smell of cigarettes at the room, very uncomfortable shower tube, I didn't like coffee quality during the breakfast- just tasteless!!

An older hotel with several updates but still some charm. Great friendly staff. Close enough to walk to old city. Fairly quiet location. Decent breakfast selection. Comfortable rooms and beds. Nice parks close by.
