The Hotel Venezia is located within walking distance of Cismigiu Park and other points of interest. The hotel lobby was very well appointed and the people at the desk were helpful and courteous. The room featured an extremely inviting bed, Samsung flat screen, free wifi (which sometimes dropped out), a robe and some basic toiletries. I particularly enjoyed the bathtub.... more

When I stayed there it had an other name, but friendly service. I had booked a singel but they were occupied so I got a suite in the tower like corner, very nice. The breakfast was hanled by several gentlemen, of who most had nothing to do, little the style of old Soviet, but it was nice. Front desk service... more

This was an excellent hotel located in the middle of Bucharest. The rooms were very clean and elegant. The overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. This was our first stay in Bucharest and we are already booking another night there to travel through again. more

Nothing special from the outside but a great hotel inside. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Service was wonderful. Room was nice and very clean. Furnishings very tasteful. (Murano Italy themed). Great breakfast. Very well located. more

We had a very enjoyable long weekend in Bucharest staying at the Hotel Venezia. The room was a good size and was very clean. Thankfully the room had aircon as the weather was very hot during our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and I wish I could have brought it back home with me. There was a bath and... more

We stayed at this lovely hotel in August. The bedroom we had was a good size with tall ceilings and a very comfortable bed with nice bedding (room 103). The bathroom was fine it had a hand held shower which sprays everywhere if you are not careful!!! The breakfast had a good selection of hams and cheeses and some cooked... more

It's about a 15 min walk to the centre of things from the hotel. The rooms are sufficient and clean. While the staff were friendly, they did not openly give us enough tourist information on the area, including day trips. At the time, the information centre was not open in Bucharest - so, you do need a guide for the... more

I stayed a couple of times at the Venezia during my stay in Bucharest, and it's not that bad in the great scheme of things, but I still think a wee bit pricey for what you get. The people were on the whole pretty friendly, especially the guy that sold me the DVD of 4 months, 3 weeks and 2... more

After a disasterous booking with Alpharooms who had allowed us to book into the Lev O'r we rebooked into the Venezia. The Casa Popularii or people's palace is a few minutes away and downtown Bucharest is a ten minute stroll. One of Bucharest's most famous parks is just to the left of it. So the location is good. The food... more
