On check-in I was given a room already occupied. Roughly 15 minutes later I had a new room allocated (that also happened to a colleague of mine; I was attending during a conference). The room was spacious, and, what seems to be very rare in modern hotel rooms, one was not disturbed by noise from the adjacent rooms. The first... More

This hotel is totally different than I expected. The staff hardly speaks English and have made several mistakes with regards my and my colleagues' reservaties (room and taxi). The showers have been cold for all four days we've stayed here. The smell of cigarettes is everywhere and the breakfast is basic incl. very dry old slices of bread. Wifi signal... More

The hotel is close to the city center (walkable distance for me). It takes around 20 minutes of walking to the old center. Prices at hotel are reasonable, the environ is calm and the rooms are good, too. Stayed there twice, in 2012 and 2013.

First i would like to say this is the first time i write a review for a hotel. I was searching for a relatively good hotel to stay with reasonable prices. I value Tripadvisor highly cuz its given tons of information, reviews from other users and other helpful tips. While i could book the room from one of different booking... More

The hotel was fine, rooms clean and big enough, equipped with shower, climatisation unit, TV and minibar, WiFi available at the room. Breakfast was OK, valued for 7 EUR, however in two from three breakfasts I found just empty eggs dish (at 8AM). Receptionist helps you with taxi pricing, to be not robed by drivers too much. I paid from... More

When I got there, there was no record of my reservation, but luckily I was able to get a room anyway. I was told that breakfast was going to be included in the room charges-but both mornings I was there I was approached about adding the cost of the meal to my room charges...and the breakfast selection was not worth... We found the staff very polite, helpfuland friendly. Our room was very clean as was all the linen and towels. We liked the use of the fridge in our room. Food in the restaurant was of a good quality and served by all the staff very politely. It would have improved our stay if there was a wider selection of... More

We stayed one night and I was pleased with the services offered in this hot summer! For an excellent price I enjoyed a very spacious room, very clean, with air conditioning and minibar. Breakfast was rich and tasty and with excellent coffee! I recommend this hotel also for its good location, close to university faculties of Bucharest (Law, Biology) and... More

Good value for the price. Nice restaurant, good food at a reasonable price! Very close to the University and the Romanian Opera House. They also provide transportation from/to the airport with large comfortable limos, which is a huge advantage for Bucharest.

Located in a decent neighborhood withhin walking distance of the North Station. Rooms are very clean and the hotel facilities are first rate. A good choice for a first visit to this former eastern block city.
