I stayed there for three nights and have to say I dreaded running into the staff. They were not helpful when asked about restaurants or sites in the city, they acted as if we were bothering them and we weren't really worth their time. Another thing is they say there is no curfew, so you can come and go as... More

I stayed there for two nights and it was very good. The plumping had a bit of an issue and it was smelling but who cares. The price is very good, is in a good quiet location (also very close to it there is a 24/7 kebab store ~~yummie) The stuff were extremely friendly and helpful with all the issues... More

This hostel is built in an old building in Bucharest. Value for money is average. The kitchen is not super though the price is not high either. I would go here again. More

Yes, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was fine, WiFi worked well and the breakfast was basic but adequate. Unfortunately, we had a similar experience to one of the previous reviewers. We arrived on the evening of a scorching hot day, after a 22 hour train ride from Istanbul, in which we had shared a couchette compartment with... More

A little bit hard to find but CERTAINLY worth it. The rooms were clean, staff like family who were available for questions 24 hours a day and even the cleaning lady was delightful and considerate. if i had to pick a standout - they all were great - but Carmen knew all the great spots, she was ready with a... We only stayed one night. But it was great. The staff was very accomodating and set up a tour for us to Transylvania. The beds were comfortable and clean. Awesome night of sleep. No complaints, only good stuff. More

It was a nice place to stay in a city we mostly disliked. The staff was incredible, very helfpul, speaking good english. The private room was ok but very near a shared living room where people stayed up at night, making sleep a little bit difficult. Cleanliness was as good as can be expected in this type of establishment. Very... More

Bucharest in August is very hot, but our travel guide led us to believe this hostel had air-conditioning or fans. Our room had neither, and on top of that, it was clearly a room that had been intended to be a bathroom (tiled floor to ceiling, pipes on wall meant for sink etc). It was completely unbearable because of the... More

This is a good hostel situated close to the Gara du Nord. It is approx a 20 minute walk to the old town. The hostel lies behind an inconspicuous doorway and we walked straight past it the first time! There is a nice courtyard to chill out in as well as a TV lounge inside and a quiet lounge on... More

The best thing about this hostel was the Staff. They were extremely helpful with providing information on things to see/do in Bucharest also with helping to check bus/train times. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Excellent breakfast spread from 7am-1pm. Stayed in a private room. Very small, but comfortable. Could use hangers thru out room and shower. Located about 20 minutes... More
