Our holiday in June 2014 to Bucharest was greatly enhanced by the very pleasant Hotel Moxa staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, they were excellent in the service they provided and the information and guidance they gave. The manager even gave us his own Satnav so we wouldn't get lost on our drive to Bran! It is a... More

Made our stay in Bucharest all the more enjoyable. Great staff and a great location without being too noisy. A taxi to the old town is around 12 lei which I think works out around £1.50 so a complete bargain in my opinion. There are numerous things to do within a relatively short distance from the hotel although the palace... More

My boyfriend and I just spent 4 nights at Moxa. It was supposed to be 3, but we loved Bucharest so much we added an extra day before heading off to the beach at Mamaia. This is a great hotel in a brilliant location; just on the outskirts of the city so that it's quiet but still within good walking... More

I would highly recommend this hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean and well appointed, with air-con and wi-fi. Very comfortable bed with good linen. The staff are friendly and helpful (and speak excellent English) and the breakfast is very good. A great place to stay if you want to explore Bucharest's Old Town and Museum quarter. The fascinating National Museum... More

Last week I had a very nice stay at Le Boutique Hotel Moxa in Bucharest. It was a real pleasure to be in Bucharest and to be the guest of this lovely hotel. My expectations were surpassed – I was more than happy to find out a beautiful location, an elegant setting, a fantastic staff with friendly smiles, warm hospitality,... More

A block from a trolley bus route to the subway or trams, safe and eclectic neighbourhood one one side, the best hotels and restaurants on the other. Breakfast so good it would hold you til mid afternoon, and AC up to the 32 heat in July. Accommodating staff, great English, and genuine in their interest. Dinner on the patio was... More

This is a great city hotel to relax in. It's a short walk from some of the museums and a taxi drive from the old center. The food is good, the staff are very friendly, and it has a good atmosphere. There is free parking, and little shops around the corner to buy things. Very good.

The room we stayed in was absolutely tiny and the staff was unfriendly. The only person who seemed to be interested in helping was presumably the manager but everyone else was cold and unhelpful. The location isn't the best (though not terrible). The one plus: the breakfast and to be nice...good WiFi?

Very good hotel in an excellent area, we stayed on three occasions during July 2014, as they were only short stays we chose the standard rooms and not the boutique ones, the rooms varied in size but that was no problem. the staff are excellent couldn't be more helpful especially Christian. It is a 20/25 min walk to the old... More
