This is the second time I have stayed at the Phoenicia and I am impressed with the standard of food, breakfast especially, the variety of restaurants at very reasonable prices and the efficiency of the staff. The Lebanese restaurant for dinner is a must. The carpets in the bedrooms need to be replaced but I believe there is an ongoing... More

First impression on arrival is that the external appearance of the hotel certainly lives up to its name. Inside it is likewise grand but the spacious lobby and reception area could do with brightening up. Just to the left of the reception is a lower area full of birds cages with a variety of budgies chirping away. The staff at... More

Phoenicia is perfectly positioned between Henri Coanda OTP airport (15 min taxi) and Pipera business district (15 min taxi). This is the main feature of this hotel from my poont of view. It averages on cleaning and breakfast, didn't like the dated oriental decor (I believe those were quite nice 5 years ago).

I have stayed there for 2 months. This is one of the best hotel in Bucharest. Three top class restaurants are there to cater your need. The gym was also good. Their services are awesome. They really provide 4 star services and truly recommend for all travelers. Last but not the least, breakfast is the best in the city with... More

The property is rather big and sparkling clean. The room was spacious, nice decorated, flat screen TV, with all the amenities needed. The bath big and with bathtub, bathrobe and slippers. Also the hotel has 4 different restaurants, which was great. We have tried the Italian one, nice atmosphere and serving. Also the breakfast was good, with an exotic touch,... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2015

The hotel's decorations are a funny mixture of colors and objects strangely put together, a style one would normally define as classic oriental. The reception staff is probably one of the nicest and helpful I have ever met, check in/out lasted very shortly. The room was large and clean, and that would be all for the positive aspects concerning it.... More

My favorite hotel in the Herastru park area. The rooms and hotel facilities are classical 4 star. But the breakfest is where the hotel really shines. Different kind of egs, sousages, pizza, soups, chinese, fresh made pancakes, fresh squeezed juices (more than 5 types). One of the best breakfests I ever hadi n a hotel.
