The restaurant is located in the centre of Bucharest. It is an old traditional restaurant where you can eat a lot, but the prices are a bit high. The atmosphere is cozy with people that dance and sing around the tables. I recommend you to go there at least once, especially if you are a tourist.

When I was pregnant, I used to eat here every day at noon. My favorite dishes were Carbonara pasta and Somloi desert. Absolutely delicious! I must confess, I was very passionate about eating this amazing food. I came back to eat and nothing has changed, everything is delicious! The pasta is quite a big meal, so you will need a... More

Had a great time in this old mansion repurposed as restaurant where good food meets typical dances and songs. Delicious burdus cheese, wine, pork and foie gras. Waiters do not know Englush very well so be patient as they might ask you a couple of times what would you like them to serve you! Manuc Marzaian's story, moreover, is interesting... More

The restaurant is housed by a historical building& food used to be good here. Last time we went, we got bread from 3 days ago, food quality was inexplicably bad & service can be improved a great deal. Not on our list of restaurants anymore. Such a horrible experience!

On my last visit in Bucharest I made a "stop" for lunch to Hanul lui Manuc. Frankly, I was disappointed, the summer garden from the courtyard looks "worn out" with nothing more spectacular than a neighborhood brasserie. The only thing good was the food that was tasty and in generous portions. The entertainment made by a folk band, singing Romanian... More

This hotel is built around a courtyard where meals are served under canopies. There is an open air bar, trees and flowering plants. Rooms are accessed from wooden staircases and walkways on three levels, all open to the courtyard. It is expensive for Bucharest but well worth visiting if only for a meal or a drink. Booking in advance is... More

We went twice to Hanul lui Manuc for dinner and late lunch. The atmosphere both times was nice and the entertaining really captures the Bucharest cultural scene essence. For dinner we enjoyed seeing Romanian dances and local folk costumes and for lunch violin and piano music of major Romanian composers. The dinner experience was very flawless, the lunch had quite... We visited this historic inn for lunch. We were greeted warmly and when we asked, we were given a table in the shade. From this viewpoint we could see across the courtyard and watch the violinist performing live. Service was attentive and food simple but very good. A definite lunch spot when in the old town.
