I stayed here with a couple of friends.We had a good idea beforehand what we were letting ourselves in for and were up for a laugh. "Fabulously ugly and cavernous" was how one guidebook had described it, and it was spot on ! It is cheap as far as Bucharest Hotels go and unless (like us) you're after a good laugh, you'd only want to stay here if you're on a seriously limited budget. There is a seedy air about the place and our room (we visited twice for a second laugh) had a musty aroma about it both times. The linen was clean, the room was semi-clean and there were a host of other creatures that called the bed "home".we all were bitten by something or other that my doctor couldn't identify. The staff were hilariously surly and naturally we didn't eat here, as it's location is actually very good for a plethora of good bars and restaurants.
