It's unbelievable how bad this is. First, the fotos lie. They were modified poorly in Photoshop so they erased the sign saying the building is a first class category for seismic risk. It could fall and anytime. The hall is Grimm and stinky, the staff smokes all the time and is rude, the rooms face each other so no fresh... More

Positives: theres a fridge in the room with coke and water in and theres also a coffee machine and tv. The location is perfect. Free wifi. Negative:There were no windows in my room and it smelt of toilet Tip: the grill restaurant next door is good but service is very slow.

Room 3, huge and clean but stinky. you have to wait for hot water if the heating in the building is on. Good for young people who don't care much about fashion and comfort. But the location is great: you can reach walking all the main attraction (National Museum of Art, History Museum, Parks, Parliament.....). The closest underground station is... More

This is very good value with excellent location but need to be accept that it lacks all charm, is good just to sleep in the room and in fact has downside of drab, stinky entryway. Position is excellent if you like "old city" experience- steps off Calei Victoriei next to National History Museum; ten minutes walk to the Palace/Atheneum for... More

The location of the hotel is perfect and the staff were very nice BUT the smell in our rooms (number 2 and 3 at the first floor) was so bad, we couldn't stand it. We ask to leave the hotel when we found out about smell but they told as we not gonna get the money back.

The location in historic Strada Lipscani, and just a few steps from Calea Victoriei, is the best possible. Ana, on the reception desk, could not have been more helpful, offering to print my boarding pass for my flight home, and to phone for a taxi for me. My room was internal, but I soon got used to it, and really... More

Much like others have said: The entrance is down a dingy corridor and reception smells of cigarette smoke but the room was clean and the bed comfortable; the air con was excellent. It is very well-located near to bars and restaurants and some beautiful Orthodox churches and the big park. The room I had did have a window (on to... More

We can highly recommend Hostel Miorita. It is a clean and quiet Hostel in the center of Bucarest. Monica and Daniel at the reception were friendly and very helpfull. You can enjoy the Bars and restaurants round Lipscani Street by walk. Beware of the Taxi-Drivers which were waiting in the evening in the street at Hotel Victoria. They want to... More

our stay at miorita contained a friendly but uninvited cockroach, a leaky toilet, a leaky shower, a view of a rather unattractive brick wall and rude reception staff. oh! and a super friendly cleaning lady.

€30 can go a long way in Bucharest. It'll buy you one night here, at a neat and somewhat modern hotel right in the old town - a perfect location for exploring the best part of the city. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Hostel Miorita. The rooms have no windows to the outside, which makes things very warm at night in... More
