Staying in Explores Hostel is really a wonderful experience for me. It's very cheap, only $25-35 Lei a nigh with free breakfast, fast & free WIFI internet access. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable to sleep on. It's in a good location where you can walk to most places. All the staff in Explores hostel... More

..enter the hostel's lobby, that on some evenings seems to be the living room of a colourful international family rather than a hostel's reception room. You can book private rooms as well as cheap dorms, use the kitchen and get to know the friendly staff, who invest a lot of personal energy aaand multicultural spirit in that place. Also in... More

The hostel is nice and spacious and clean, conveniently located near the center and the train station and even nearer a nice park. There's a common kitchen. The owners and staff are friendly. It's also quite cheap.

We only stayed at Explorers for 2 nights but they were very happy ones! The owners are very friendly and helpful, giving us advice on travel, sites and more. The directions we got with our confirmation email got us easily from the rail station without having to resort to a taxi (a poor couple that weren't as lucky got charged... More

My friends and I stayed here for just a few days. The hostel staff was excelling in providing to us all the information we needed in this wonderful little version of Paris. The kitchen has everything you need, and the bathrooms were much bigger than your average hostel bathrooms as well.

+ Explorers hostel in Bucharest is one of the better hostels I've come across on my travels. Located in quite part of city. Centre is in walking distance. Gare de Nord 15 Minutes walk. Spacious with plenty of room in common areas. Kitchen has everything you need to cook with. Free Coffee. Dorms and linen are clean. Hint: It's easy... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at explorers for 3 weeks. The hostel is in a nice part of the city, only a short walk to the Old Town and all the main attractions yet away from busy streets so it's nice and quiet at night. The owners are a young Romanian couple who are super friendly and always happy to... More

We stayed here because we could walk from the train station and to the major sights. We would come back because of the owners and the place. A nice young couple run and I think own the place. Both have great guest service. Hostel is big with lots of places to hang out. Clean. Big kitchen. Free, good wi-fi. In... More

Nice, clean, cozy hostel; very nice people.Major + : flexible check-in/check-out hours (had to check in on very short notice, late hours - no fuss ;) ). Noticed some nice bicycles available for hourly/dayly rental. English, Spanish are no "strangers" to staff. 10 out of 10!
