Just another buisnessman on a buisness trip!.. Airport Transfer cost me 83 lei Checked into hotel, very clean, on the 8th floor. Superb view out over the park and the tram terminus. I had my own driver to collect and return me to the Hotel and upon driving the suburbs, it is very Parisien. Past the scale Arc de Triumph... more

Hotel does what it's supposed to do (provides good accommodation), but there is really nothing impressive about it. + quite spacious rooms, + amazingly comfortable beds (I loved their softness!), + decent facilities in a room (desk, coffee/tea set, closet, safe) + bathroom with a bathtub, + free Internet (quite efficient although not super-fast), + above average breakfast, + 24/7... more

The location of the Pullman -formerly sofitel- north of downtown is convenient since it is on the way in town when coming from the airport or on the way out when leaving for the airport. Area is a nightlife -and daylife- desert though. Staff is efficient and friendly, they offer a nice taxi/limo service at competitive price. Breakfast is above... more

We just completed a trip to Transylvania and Bucharest. After driving a car on the national road from the North, it was a welcoming sight to see the Sofitel. Luckily, the hotel is located before the city center and close to the airport making this a fantastic spot to park your car at the hotel (for free). Since we no... more

Sofitel Bucharest 10 Montreal Square Bucharest, Romania [-] This superior business class hotel deserves 5 stars (rumor has it that it has only 4 stars because it lacks a swimming pool). It is located on the northwest edge of the city next to the trade and business fairgrounds, about a km from the Free Press Palace on the road to... more

I was here for four nights on a business trip. I flew in on a Sunday and took a 'Fly' taxi from the airport to the Sofitel, the journey took about 30 minutes and cost 46 Lei. I couldn't find an ATM at the airport so I changed some Euros with an currency exchange in the arrivals hall next to... more

I was travelling on business and this hotel is recommended by my company. Although in my opinion the service at front desk was not that nice, and prices are very high even for Sofitel. Rooms were spacious, nice bathrooms, and great breakfast. more

I would rate this hotel just 'ok'. The location is at the edge of the city, which means closer to the airport and convenient for travellers. If you are in Bucharest for business, the hotel is fine as concierge is efficient and they have basic 'must' facilities such as gym, small shopping area, which would be sufficient for business travellers.... more

I’ve stayed in a lot of 4-5 star hotels, but this was my first time in a Sofitel. This one is not on central location, and it is not even convenient with public transport. Unless you arrange for your own vehicle or plan to use taxis (large highways connect the hotel with the city centre), be careful. Our triple room... more

This is a very good hotel. The overall standard is very high. It is however a reasonable distance from the city and perhaps not the ideal location for a tourist (which I was). The bed I slept in at this hotel was the best I came across on my 5 week holiday to Europe. The rooms were a little small... more
