I stayed here on a business trip and I couldn't fault the room. It has all the attributes you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Huge bed, beautiful linen; flat screen TV; good shower and excellent bathroom lighting . No tea/coffee making though. Its functional from outside - being designed in the same style as the Parliament building... more

We stayed here in October, 2008 after a Danube River cruise that departed from Vienna. The cruise company uses this quite new property for groups of arriving and departing passengers, and it is indeed a large, grand hotel. The rooms are large, comfortable and pretty. There are lots of restaurants, shops, a casino, and plenty of other services. It is... more

I expected from Marriott exactly the same thing as anyone would expect: quality! 1. We found insects in our bathroom! We told to the receptionist and he told me everything will be taken care of. We went down for dinner and when we got back the insect was exactly were my shoe left it: on the floor. I called again... more

Stayed here for two nights on a business trip. Very large and grand hotel right in the centre of town next to the People's Palace. Very large and impressive lobby with small shopping mall and sweeping staircases. Casino and pool in the basement. Various bars and restaurants. Typical high standard Marriott room. Very comfortable. I've stayed in a number of... more

My wife & I stayed here for our last night in Romania, after touring the country for 2 weeks. We've had some very memorable experiences staying at J.W. Marriott hotels abroad, but this was not one of them. First, the positive -- just as you would expect, the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable.... more

The Marriott really is a "grand hotel" - the rooms are spacious, well equipped and with an excellent bathroom. The rack rate is pricey! It is situated near the Parliament Palace and within walking distance of central Bucharest. The casino in the basement is a reasonably good place to change money into lei (don't get sidetracked by the waitresses in... more

We stayed at the Grand for 2 nights after finishing a 30 day river cruise. The stay was Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! Room was elegant and clean. Personnel at desk were helpful and knowlegeable. The only down side tthe stay was in the Cucina restaurant, when we asked for a salad to accompany our pasta dish the waiter was aghast with the order... more

As the name states, JW Marriott Bucharest is a GRAND hotel. A very good position within bucharest parliament and city Marriott is a very luxurious hotel with a lot of business services. I visited the hotel for a conference so I used most of the business facilities and wifi connection and conference services to my full satisfaction. I had a... more

Luxurious and extremely nice hotel. Very clean, rich and majestic decoration. Rooms are nice and comfortable, nice bathroom with separate bath tub and shower. The Italian Restaurant Cucina has wonderful decoration and ok cuisine. The Libanese restaurant is a must. Championship sports restaurant reminds of TGI Fridays. The cafes and lounge are nice and appropriate for business meetings. Casino is... more
