Clean and well located but extremely noisy and with the most unreliable staff (messing up reservations / overbooking and then granting the room to the higher bidder). The standard room is too small for being decent and the one built in the garage (take care) is unsuitable for accommodation. Given the price and location could be the best option for... More

The staff was very friendly, always there to give suggestions about what you could do to really have a nice experience in Bucharest. The breakfast was a nice surprise, beside the typical things (bread, cereals), there were also real Romanian things to try out. The room was a bit small and the minibar next to the bed isn't that comfortable.... More

I really enjoyed my 3 night stay in this very quaint little hotel! The bed was super comfy, and the room was very clean and a good size. The bathroom was also kept very clean, but some attention could be paid to paintwork (minor detail). The bedroom could also do with having a waste paper basket, as opposed to using... More

This is a very quaint hotel, a very small hotel. It is located in a very nice area of Bucharest. The breakfast was pretty good 4/5 stars, the bed was comfortable 4/5 stars, the room was tiny, the bathroom was tiny, there is no parking and if you stop in front of the hotel the Bucharest drivers will show their... I have previously stayed in Bucharest and dare I say this place was a nice surprise, hence the review. I have stayed for a couple of days in the summer. Located quite close to the city center, it certainly made a difference for me (I like to walk my way in discovering the town). The weather was incredibly hot and... More

Nice hotel. Maybe. I didn't have such opportunity to check it out, because only my room was outside of the main building. That's why I can not give better note. The quality of sleeping was terrible, because of cars passing by just 1m from the window. The worst thing was the thin door. Through leaky door I could hear absolutely... More

Centrally located (15 min walk), very good breakfast, nice, very helpful and friendly Personal, the room was beautyful and clean - but with open windows (a/c did not work) the noise from the street can be loud. Good value for money. We would return there.

Nice location, near centre, walking distance for all main point of interest. My room was small but what can you expect in boutique hotel. Very friendly staff! Excellent value for money! Nice breakfast.

The Hotel Monaco was our Home Away From Home during our stay in Bucharest. My husband and I planned a two-week trip through Romania, starting in Bucharest and this hotel was our starting and end point (total of 4 nights). We couldn’t have chosen a better place! From the very beginning we were greeted with a warm smile and welcome... More

This hotel is around a 15 minutes walk from the old town. It's right besides a park. The room was small, but otherwise really nice and offered everything that I needed. Very friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet. Free Wi-Fi was working like a charm. I really recommend that you make the free Guided Bucharest Walking Tour if you... More
