I'm not sure when a normal hotel becomes a boutique hotel, as this one claims to be but, IMHO, this definitely doesn't deserve a 5 stars review. The rooms and bathrooms are really small, the breakfast area similar, there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, no space for a table to work from, it is in quite... More

The hotel has a good location and it is at a walking distance from the center of the city and even have the metro stations close by for easy commuting. The rooms are good and comfortable and the service at the place is also good. I had stayed at the place with my friends in July and was there for... More

Very nice hotel, friendly, clean, excelent breakfast and very helpful and good English speaking staff. Situated almost in the center, 15 minutes walk from old town and 10 minutes from the Metro. Olle from Sweden

The Hotel Monaco was our Home Away From Home during our stay in Bucharest. My husband and I planned a two-week trip through Romania, starting in Bucharest and this hotel was our starting and end point. We couldn’t have chosen a better place! From the very beginning we were greeted with a warm smile and welcome from the staff. They... More

The hotel location is very good, within walking distance to the city center. Great breakfast and excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. The balcony was very big, but the room and the bathroom were tiny. There are hardly any signs for the hotel, so it was quite difficult to find it if you are travelling by car.

We spent four nights here. Good service, clean rooms, good location. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is decent. smallwst room is very small so its worth going for a bigger one. price can be negotiated. Try gargantua next door for lunch or dinner.

This really is a lovely hotel and within walking distance of the old town. The breakfast is excellent - couldn't fault it at all. Our room had a big balcony, free wifi and a very comfy bed. Great value for money.

Great location, within walking distance to restaurants, park, theater, historic center. Very friendly staff, well appointed rooms and a seemingly endless array of food options for breakfast. Truly my home away from home.

The Monaco hotel is a little jewel located in a quieter area, close to the main attractions of the city. The decor of the room and the whole hotel is beautiful, the room is very clean, staff is very helpful and you have free wifi in your room. I would love to come back.

Everything was perfect in hotel Monaco and the ladies at the reception were particularly nice and helpful! The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated, breakfast was great, I would definitely book this hotel again without hesitating for my next trip to Bucharest!
