Went to this hotel with large group for football trip, great rooms, great service, mini bar in rooms which wasn't expensive to use, hotel restaurant very good, even with a large crowd of us making noise, the hotel were understanding and never complained, its in the middle of city an handy to all local amenities, would definitely recommend this hotel, ☺

Pros: - close to Bucharest court house - close to bus station - close to Unirea area, 10 minutes walk - quiet room - comfortable bed - rooms are quite spacious Cons: - old furniture - broken safe - poor mini bar - low quality restaurant

Honestly, we picked the hotel because it was right next to the Court House. The interior is a little old but very clean rooms. My only problem was the fact that it was the worst bed I have ever slept in! I don't even want to remember it! After driving for 5 hours, i though I'll get a good night's... More

Prettty nice but in old style with carpeted walls. Pretty close ti citycenter. Have stayed her two times, booked by visiting company. In wintertime the walk to center was really heavy, goes for the whole town since they are really poor taking care of snow but the worst snowstorm in ages might be difficult to prepare for. Breakfast ok, lobby... More

Appearance-wise this place is ok, it was a part of a group tour and I probably wouldn't have chosen it based on it's location just out of the heart of the city where there are better options. People are smoking everywhere and the air con is off, only heating because of it being winter. The room I had had no... More

This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in last 20 years. Don't let the word Royal confuse you as there is nothing royal about this place. Horrible uncomfortable mattresses, the cheapest probably that can be found on an oriental market, feels like sleeping on a wooden board. wifi isn't working normally, the network disappears every few minutes, ugly outdated... I sent four nights in this hotel. It has an excellent location in Bucharest next to they old town and a metro station. The hotel is located in a nice classical building but has been totally rebuilt during the last years. The hotel is nice and clean and with functional rooms. Nothing grand luxury, bot comfortable enough. I did miss... More

Everything was fabulous. The location is in the old city and within a few minutes you can be at the subway, parliament and other attractions. Room was clean, ac cold, bed comfortable and a great breakfast. The room overlooking street can be a little noisy as people make their way hom. I would certainly return to Hotel Royal and Buchares.... More

This is a good place to stay: excellent location by Uniril with the central square/park in front and the charming old town just behind, very friendly and service-minded staff specially in the reseption, good breakfast in the restaurant in front by the entrance. The hotel is quite new(?) or restored in an old charming building, everything done for a new... More
