This is a typical Soviet era hotel. That is, a run down building with small, dingy room. It is cheap, convenient, and somewhat clean. The elevators work periodically, so get a lower floor. Don't try the restaurant. I've stayed in it several times without any major complaints. Just do not expect anything more than a bed and functional toilet. more

I'm not sure what to make of this hotel. It is essentially a soviet style unrenovated hotel fairly central in Chisinau. The staff were helpful although one was also very soviet style! Reception were very helpful and the breakfast was fine as were the other services - everything from car rental, post office, currency exchange, hairdressers is within the hotel... more
