I was a bit concerned after reading the mixed reviews here (note to self: read reviews first, THEN book...), so I was pleasantly surprised when shown to my room. The location was pretty good (no more than 5-10 minutes from the centre of Zagreb); the room was clean (if a little strangely decorated) and the staff friendly. My only criticism... more

We went direct to Apartmani Henrik to view the rooms after an awful night staying in another place in Zagreb. The owner doeas not speak good English but her son who are about 10-12 years can speak well English and show us around on the available room. We booked Henrik Apartments, through Hostelbookers, as it was centrally located and had the services that we required, such as internet, laundry, on-site bar, optional breakfast and most importantly a private ensuite.
