The best thing about the Jaegerhorn is its location, right in the centre near the big square and the famous "restaurant street". Zagreb is not a cheap city, but this is cheaper than the other bigger city centre hotels. It's small and friendly and homely, but there are downsides. You have to carry your bags up a lot of stairs,... more

booked this hotel direct by email. small rooms but comfortable beds. right on main street about 150m from central square ( trams, shops, market etc). excellent breakfast ( have the ham and eggs) and excellent evening restaurant meals, the cliff railway up to the upper town is about 100m away. staff friendly and helpful. pay cash for 10% discount. more
