It's close to the train station but on the opposite side of the main sights. The people at the reception are very nice which makes up a little for how bad this place really is. Most of the linens are very old, there was no light on the hallway to our room, no elevators, poor breakfast, I guess it's a... More

Close to the city center (15 minutes walk), very friendly staff in reception. What about hotel inside ? Lack of air-conditioning, what in Zagreb during hot summer was unbearable. Very poor breakfast and not nice man in restaurant. The room smelled, carpet was not clean at all, room generally was dirty. In the room wasn´t a fridge. The hotel is... More

Look for yourself. Pictures say more then a 1000 words. And the words describing this hotel on its own website are far beyond reality. It is a shame that the Zagreb Tourist board allows this hotel to carry a 3 star rating, and that foreign booking sites remain having this dump on offer.

I booked this hotel through and lateroom.com for myself and two other friends. We arrived at the hotel, It looked horrible on the outside. When we arrived at the desk, they said they had not received my bookings from lateroom.com which I knew was a lie. So I thought to myself that I was going to be stuck in Zagreb... More

The worst hotel I ever stayed! Old, dirty with fingerprints on the walls, no airconditioning so I had to open the window and get all the traffic noise of the thoroughfare, sheets and towels with holes and so worn out they felt like sandpaper. As for the breakfast room in the basement! And the location far from the centre in... More

I travelled with a large group of women to several cities in the central europe region and Hotel Dora in Zagreb was our most disappointing stay (relatively speaking). On the face of it, there's nothing terribly wrong with the hotel. It's a very basic and functional place. Minimal choice at breakfast. Recently renovated, so the bathrooms looked clean and new.... When i first saw the photos of hotel on the web page and the outdoor appearance, i thought i would have nice & pleasant stay in Zagreb, BUT... I even didn't want to take pictures of my room on the ground floor(they would be more awful than the pics from rjung), or photos of the bathroom... it was untidy, small... More

We arrived by train to Zagreb and were able to carry our bags from the station to the Hotel Dora without too much problem. Zagreb had just experienced unusually warm temperatures and this was a harbinger of problems ahead. Upon ariving at the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the hotel staff and shown to our room on the first... More
