This hotel worked well for us as it is only a 10 min walk to the train station. Next to the station is an excellent underground shopping centre with supermarket, money exchange and a dozens of smaller shops. It was one of the few hotels we encountered on our holiday that had tea and coffee making facilities in the room.... more

Got a good rate for this hotel online which probably made ti a more positive experience. The hotel was refurbished recently so the bathroom etc is top notch - nice view out of the window too. Stayed one night on a business trip. For the price a very modern, large room and bathroom. Lobby and bar area is also ok. I avoided the breakfast as it is in a windowless room in the back of the lobby. Front desk staff were friendly and competent. Overall an OK hotel. more

Hotel International is a big place catering to the business crowd. Very affordable rooms & restaurant. A little away from the city centre though. more

My partner and I stayed at the Hotel International from 11-14 June 2007. It was our first visit to Croatia. Catch the Croatian Airlines bus from the airport and get off at the third (official) stop. Stayed here for a night in May after a trip down the Dalmatian coast, just to rest before our flight out of Zagreb the next morning. It was good for just that. Hotel International The hotel looks impressive as you first arrive and in many ways nearly lives up to expectations. Arrived about 11.00 and had asked for non smoking and had to wait till later before we could check in. Not a lot I can say about this nothing was especially good and nothing especially bad. The hotel is well presented, good size rooms and bathroom, presentation of the lobby and guest area's are of a high standard. But the staff are non approachable, un-helpful and make you feel un-wanted. I checked out one day early - this is why I gave the hotel the title NO HEART. more
