A winter business trip to Zagreb, weather VERY cold but a great experience at the this hotel. A nice friendly welcome from the English speaking reception staff, quickly allocated rooms and no complaints about our stay. Hotel was warm, rooms were well appointed and clean and the general areas nicely decorated for Christmas, with a lovely tree underneath the famous... More

Five minutes walk from train station and main tram stop. Only 10 meters from a stop on Tram 6 (the best route for tourist attractions.). Lovely old building with a nice reception area. Most have been grand when it was new. Staircase are marble; large reception area. Building is showing it's age but still quite nice. Each room has double... More

As the Palace transitions to a somewhat modern operation ( large elevator installed complementing the two tiny ones, reduced staff, upgraded bathrooms and new carpeting ), it remains a work in progress. We stayed here last year also in late November and early December - no slush this time but still rainy - but the cheerful, attractive staff certainly made... More

Quaint hotel with olde world charm. Clean and great location to walk to the must-see attractions. Good restaurants nearby and good shopping also. Room small but adequate. Great breakfast. Would recommend.

This was my third trip to Zagreb this year, but was my first stay in the Palace, having previously been booked into the Dubrovnik. The Palace is a rather more serene hotel, unlike the bustle of the Dubrovnik, just as the lovely warm art deco stencilled wood panelled lobby contrasts with the mirrored bling of the Dubrovnik. The reception staff were... More

We stayed at the Palace in 2006 and enjoyed it then; recently we enjoyed it again. The hotel's rooms are in various stages of refurbishment. A great disappointment when we returned was that the gorgeous art nouveau stained glass domed ceiling and grand staircase were covered up for renovation; I had remembered them as enchanting and I understand they were... Good quality/price ratio. Perfect location. Room not extremely large. Pillow generously bulky. Service good. Breakfast room a little bit anonymous. Food variety improvable. Coffee quality too. I would come back.

We stayed here as part of a group of 19 of us. As other tripadvisors have said great location, good rooms, friendly staff etc. I would add take care when walking out across the road, the trams go right past the front door. The cafe through the doors to the left is lovely and perfect for that after dinner chat... More

Probably one of the best locations in Zagreb. Walking distance ( 5 minutes) from the city center. Very comfortable rooms. Good BFK (only negative point in BFK is that there is no fresh fruits). Nice and friendly staff. For me best value for money in Zagreb.

Spent 2 nights here and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. In a great location to walk to all the sites and the old city, with several great restaurants near by. Large room and bathroom facilities, with excellent wifi and breakfast selection. Highly recommend.
