We were two adults at this hotel. The room was fresh and the cleaning good. I would definitely point out the location. Really big plus for this hotel. Breakfast was very good and it is included in the price. (and restaurant offers quality food). Staff were friendly and helpful. In terms of value-for-money, probably the best hotel we have stayed... Nicely located in a large square dating from the Austrian period; walking distance from the city centre and the old town of this beautiful city. This hotel seems popular with business conventions. It is quiet, almost too quiet! Rooms are not huge but they are fully functional. Staff helpful. Breakfast is in a Vienna style cafe which forms part of... More

My friend and I stayed at the Palace Hotel for 4 nights, from Monday night to Thursday night. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were all very pleasant and polite. We were offered assistance with heavy baggage and were given plenty of help whenever we had questions about Zagreb etc. The hotel made parking reasonably easy despite... More

I booked three nights at the Palace Hotel in Zagreb to meet family folks in Croatia. The hotel was in fact corresponding to the photos I had seen in their website. Beautiful, a bit retro with good and well equipped rooms. Very kind and helpful staff at both the reception and the restaurant who spoke Italian and English rather fluently.... More

The Palace Hotel Zagreb is of a lovely old world style and the quality flows throughout. We had a comfortable stay and we found our room to be clean, quiet, of a good size and had all the amenities required. Breakfast was also of a good standard and we found all the staff during our visit friendly and professional. The... More

A winter business trip to Zagreb, weather VERY cold but a great experience at the this hotel. A nice friendly welcome from the English speaking reception staff, quickly allocated rooms and no complaints about our stay. Hotel was warm, rooms were well appointed and clean and the general areas nicely decorated for Christmas, with a lovely tree underneath the famous... More

Five minutes walk from train station and main tram stop. Only 10 meters from a stop on Tram 6 (the best route for tourist attractions.). Lovely old building with a nice reception area. Most have been grand when it was new. Staircase are marble; large reception area. Building is showing it's age but still quite nice. Each room has double... More

As the Palace transitions to a somewhat modern operation ( large elevator installed complementing the two tiny ones, reduced staff, upgraded bathrooms and new carpeting ), it remains a work in progress. We stayed here last year also in late November and early December - no slush this time but still rainy - but the cheerful, attractive staff certainly made... More

Quaint hotel with olde world charm. Clean and great location to walk to the must-see attractions. Good restaurants nearby and good shopping also. Room small but adequate. Great breakfast. Would recommend.

This was my third trip to Zagreb this year, but was my first stay in the Palace, having previously been booked into the Dubrovnik. The Palace is a rather more serene hotel, unlike the bustle of the Dubrovnik, just as the lovely warm art deco stencilled wood panelled lobby contrasts with the mirrored bling of the Dubrovnik. The reception staff were... More
