Stayed here whilst competing in a sporting event, so needed all the basics to be in place, including a comfortable bed! We were pleasantly surprised. We were lucky as the hotel put us in a room which had been updated (Room 101),other rooms we saw were awful,as they nothing had changed post communist. Another room they tried to give us was updated but had no curtains! (Room 313) Breakfast was basic and to top this there was a power-cut on our last day,no generator backup... more

We really loved this hotel. The only problem was that it's far away from the city centre. You have to take the tram to the end of the line and then switch to a bus for awhile. Once you get there, though, it's great. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. more
