Got the following information: "We are no longer opened as hostel, just apartments. Price is 40 eur for night (2 persons). Regards, Nokturno" Not the end of a great period(apartments now), and the famous restaurant will continue to serve tourists.

the restaurant is simply fantastic, however the hounsing facilities are miserable, avoid as a hostel, but highly recommended as a restaurant. i would like to recommend the owner to close the housing is kinda a bad publicity for the restaurant.

This was by far the worst hostel experience I have ever had. My friends and I knew we would be arriving in Zagreb later so we made to sure to book a place with 24 hour reception. We arrived at 11:30pm and had no way to get into the hostel. We went into the restaurant next door by the same... More

The good things first: no better location can be found in town. My single room was ok, like always. Comfortable bed. Restaurant next doors is very very good. Staff at the reception ok...TV in the common room and pc almost always available. Bad: the house rules have deleted that silence must be respected from 10pm till 06 am...OMG, the reception... More

This hostel has a great location right in the heart of Zagreb, which does mean there is a small amount of noise from the outside busy street but unless you are a very light sleeper it's not a problem. It also had a great price for such a good location which is what attracted me to it in the first... More

I stayed here for two nights while I was in Zagreb. The price primarily motivated me, but it's in a great location (right near St. Mark's and Ban Jelačić Square) and has a fun staff. They helped put me in contact with a reasonably-priced tour guide to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a place I'm glad I saw. It's not fancy,... More

My friend and I were in Zagreb for a concert at the Šalata and chose Nokturno based on the good reviews and great price (plus, the location is not too shabby either), we didn't regret it one bit. We had the private room (their only private room) so I can't speak for the rest of the hostel, but our room... More

A decent low budget hotel or hostel is the Hotel Nokturno. The facilities are adequate for the price being paid. While booking check out if you are getting a private bathroom. The advantage is the location, being close to all the good spots in the city. Try walking on pedestrian friendly areas and also the serpentine narrow lanes. The angles... More

The hostel is in the best position possible, few steps from the cathedral. It also includes a nice and cheap restaurant. On the other side the rooms were extremely hot in summer (no AC) and very noisy, because the windows are just over the street with restaurants and bars. Last, it seems a bit priced compared to other hostel in... More
