The location of this small hotel is superb, right on the main pedestrian boulevard. Easy access to tourist sites and restaurants and cafes. We had two different types of rooms; the first was quite large, but very dim and dark, several light bulbs were out,.Sort of high fashion, but zero function. There was a desk with no lighting on it to work, no place to plug in devices, the shower leaked in a big way all over the floor, not enough ttowels. Would only give us one key "because they often aren't returned". Lobby is tiny, utilitarian only. The second room was much smaller; again, the desk had no light above it or on it where one could work. No place to plug in devices, not even a location for one suitcase, let alone two that two people travel with. Didn't eat breakfast as it was too expensive and there are lots of good cafes nearby with excellent espressos and pastries. Would not stay here again.

Very centrally located right on the main shopping street. The rooms are relatively compact but well appointed. The problem is their restaurant: whilst the food is good the service is not as they seem to be understaffed. Whilst the waiter acknowledged us three times, after 20 minutes he still hadn't come to take our order. We left, as did others. The next morning we came down for breakfast at 9:50, service being up to 10am. We were told that there was no hot food, as the kitchen was already closed. So, we chose the cold option but no bread of fruit was served. After pointing out this was a restaurant, some warmed bread was provided.

Great central location but the room was tired and dark with poor sound proofing so not good for noise sensitive. It also advertises room service but there is none. I arrived late the first night then was feeling a bit below par so after a long day sightseeing decided to stay as had an early start for a long hike the next day. there is a restaurant connected but as no room Service I had some snacks from the minibar. I couldn’t work out the triple remotes for some tv news. the air con machine was very noisy and I was in a room by the lift so the lift /guest traffic noise plus cleaners talking right outside the room meant I just didn’t get the relaxing, quiet hotel room experience I hoped for. there’s a tiny reception with different people on the whole time who seemed nice enough but I would say this is 2/3* hotel. the free Sofia walking tour is really great by the way.

Right next to the major walking street in town and minutes away from outstanding restaurants. Large rooms with views and automatic blinds to darken the room. The elevators are a bit confusing as only one goes from the reception to all floors while two others only go to first floor (and strangely say for only one person; come on!). Don't be put off by the reception which is so unimpressive that you think you are going into a dive-hotel. We didn't choose to pay Euro 12 per person due to all the bad reviews on breakfast but there are many places to eat near by; just be aware that places don't serve breakfast before 8:00 and many not before 9:00!!

We were so pleasantly surprised with this hotel -- right on Vitosha, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The room was well appointed, including wine glasses and a corkscrew, plus a mini bar, a desk, and a table and chairs, along with a large wardrobe area. Our fun feature was curtains that opened and closed with the flip of a switch, showing windows that overlooked Vitosha. However, even though it was noisy outside, none of that noise entered our room! A really nice feature was the oversized bathtub in the room, in addition to a separate shower.

What a wonderful, charming, memorably unique, comfortable hotel, located just off of the bustling Vitosha pedestrian promenade! We loved the various iterations of floral decor on the outside of the building, on each door and in each room. We also loved the patterns on the wood floor in our room. The bed was comfortable. We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows (and appreciated the shades). We appreciated the ample hot water in the shower. The wifi was strong and consistent. While all of the restaurants and cafes on Vitosha are so nearby, we were relieved that our room was very quiet. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Note: we were fortunate to be able to park in one of only two on-street parking spaces allocated for the hotel on the one-way street leading into Vitosha.

Great hotel! Staff are friendly ! But the resturant which caters for breakfast is awful. 3 choices on the list and woe betide if you ask for an extra glass of orange or a coffee! By all means use the hotel but forget breakfast and eat elsewhere!!

A funkily designed room and ideal location justify a five star review despite a few things that could be improved such rather small bath towels a bed that was a bit hard (but which others might have liked) a very mediocre breakfast (there are better options nearby) and a mini bar that wasn’t fully stocked (no tonic!)

This is beautiful hotel to stay in, very modern and decorative, the room was beautiful with a stand alone bath, modern shower. Electric blinds and aircon. We were on the 29th Floor with a view over the rooftops and the street below, this is the perfect location for all attractions. Staff were very friendly and attentive- highly recommended
