My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way back from Bankso, due to an extremely early departure the following morning. The location of the hotel is good, however that is only one of the few positives I can mention. The reception is on 1st floor ... no elevators. It took almost 10minutes to check us in for... more

It was a challenge for our driver to find Scotty's, marked with just a small sign, but once we found it we had a very warm reception from the desk clerk. We had splashed out and booked the best room in this hotel, the Cape Town, which was decorated with zebra-striped pillows, bed cover, etc. and was very comfortable and... more

Don't be fooled by the branding, Scotty's boutique hotel is anything but!!!First you come into the lobby to be greeted by several flights of stairs to climb just to get to the reception, then more to your room. My single room was awful, I had brown stains on sheets (which were grudgingly changed), the toilet smelled, and the room was... more

Originally booked this hotel as we were intrigued by the name (with Scot brandishing bagpipes) and the reasonable prices. It was also well-located and had okay-good reviews. After booking this place over the internet we emailed the hotel to ask for a room with a balcony. Indeed, we were allocated 'Sydney' on the top floor with a fantastic balcony with... more

The hotel's rooms were clean and comfortable. Free tea and coffee (instant) were provided, along with a kettle to make hot water. The deluxe rooms have a couch, chair, and coffee table to add some comfort. Make sure not to get a room on the first floor, as reception will be right outside your door. They were quiet at night,... more

Had a very pleasent four night stay in March 07. Would advise taking a taxi from the airport as the journey by public transport involves one bus and two tram rides. Taxi cost is approx 9 lev. Only use OK taxi's. You will be mobbed by pirate taxi drivers at the airport. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, breakfast/light... more

Scotty boutique-december26th and 2nd january. We stayed at the hotel for 2 seperate days, we had 2 rooms 1for adults, 1 for kids. comfortable and clean enough, a bit tight on the coffee and tea. We originally had a standard room the 26th, but when we came back it was upgraded to a deluxe at no extra cost because they... more

Had to write to say what a delightful place to stay this was. My room was lovely, clean and, after the noisy hotels I'd had to endure during the rest of my trip, fairly quiet despite being right by reception. I particularly liked having a little balcony, where I could have my breakfast and the free internet access was very... more

I stayed a couple of days in this hotel. I chosed it because I had some business close to that area. The hotel is pretty much in the downtown of Sofia, near the gouvernment and other important buildings. The area looks interesting in front of this important buildings, but behind them, 50 meters away it´s a desaster: dirtiness, poverty, very... more
