Very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and also clean, however a bit old fashioned. The rooms are not expensive, however the breakfast for approx. EUR 20 is defenitelly too expensive (if you like having breakfast however, you will be "forced" to eat there as there are not so many other good possibilities to have breakfast in the town).

I always wonder whenever I visit Grand Hotel why they have so big rooms….the room could be the size of the bathroom and still be spacious!!!
Room having all facilities a traveler may need…Hotel has a nice lobby. Downtown with many places to visit around.

The hotel is located in the centre of Sofia, close to National Theatre and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Sofia is not a quite large city, so you can walk from the hotel and see most of its highlights. There isn't any big stores or shopping malls near the hotel, but by foot it takes you about 20 minutes to find one....
