We were on tour with Cosmos, and spent one night in the "Grand Hotel Sarajevo". Bosnia is a poor country, and in that light this hotel looked very decent to me. It was very clean, the breakfast and dinner were very good, the wine extreamely cheap. Of course, you will find no luxury there, only basics. But overall - quite... More

4th hotel during Cosmos Jewels of Slovenia & Croatia tour. No idea why they choose this hotel... rooms are old and tired - carpet needs replacing in a bad way. This hotel allows smoking - they try to place air fresheners in the rooms but you can still smell the smoke in the drapes etc. There were cigarette burn hole... More

This hotel is located by the station a bit out of town. The name is clearly a misnomer as the rooms were small with tiny showers and air on units that dripped water right next to the bed. This hotel clearly needs refurbishing. Sarajevo has clearly suffered a lot from the civil war and has a long way to go... More

Not well named hotel, nothing Grand about it. Smallest rooms of the tour, and I also plan not to go back to Sarajevo. History is interesting, but not at all a happy place. Generally people are surly and unhappy.

I stayed 3 nights here, offered me a 4-person room, so room was extra large, 2 large beds, provided sofa, minibar,tv, working table & wi-fi etc. Room is very clean ,new decorated and sleep condition is very nice because quiet. Only one lift installed, it required a little longer time for lift service. Location is rather disappointed at a very quiet... More

This hotel is placed on a distanced and dark location. I would not recommend to walk to or from hotel in evening hours. Rooms are basic, and very cold. I spent couple of days there in november and I was freezing. During breakfast, I saw a couple of cats walking in the restaurant. Reception staff did not do anything in... More

LOCATION: the hotel was at first a bit difficult to find, but I managed eventually with the help of my sat-nav. The city attractions are accessible by car form the hotel, the walking is not recommended because of the hotel's ugly surroundings, heavy traffic, and lack of pedestrian zones in the hotel vicinity. STAFF: the staff at the reception were... More

We stayed here one night as part of a tour group. The hotel is not in the most convenient location, being some distance from the old town. Taxis are cheap, however. The hotel is a bit rundown. Our room was moderately comfortable, basically furnished and could have been a tad cleaner. Carpets were stained. The beds were comfortable enough, although... More

We had an overnight at this hotel on a tour of Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia. Reading reviews before going I think people need to realize that the war caused very serious damage to Sarajevo and they still have not fully recovered. I thought the hotel was just fine considering. The showers are very! and I do mean very tiny but... More

Located away from the old town which is the main attraction of Sarajevo. On a hill overlooking a tall modern newspaper company building. Not so easy to access attractions from location, although I guess taxis seemed cheap. Room we stayed in was basic with not a lot of atmosphere. Seemed more like just above hostel standard, certainly not to 4*... More
