Hotel felt new, or newly decorated, staff was nice and talkative and best of all it was a couple of minutes of slow walk to the city center! Breakfast was nothing to write home about given that the hotel itself was small but everyone will find something they like. Rooms were very spacious and had everything you need. Also parking... More

We were scared by some comments on this hotel, but we had to change our mind. The hotel is divided in two parts: the new one, a four-stars-hotel, we didn't see, and the old one, the "hostel", where we stayed. There are all the facilities of a hotel, but the price is very cheap. The room was small, but clean... More

This place has a very good location and is good value for money. Very helpful staff. We had reserved via hotels.com and the two of us could only get a triple room online. As we showed up it was possible to change to single room and save 20$ per night. (Flooded bathroom floors are often a problem in this price... More

It is true that this hotel is located in a place that is almost perfect. Of course, there are nicer hotels with better accommodations and an exactly perfect location: Downtown by the river. However, what was nice about Hotel Hayat, was that it is a five-minute walk to the beginning of the "Turkish Coredor" where the Baščaršija square is located,... More

This is rated 4 star by the hotel, but then 3 star on booking.com. This is more like a 2-star. Rooms are tiny, with zero useful furniture, beds and pillows uncomfortable. As with many hotels in the Balkans, owners insist on stone floors which enables you to hear every footstep and every sound at twice the volume. speaking of volume,... More

From the outside hotel looks excellent, especially at night with big shinning luminenscent name and FOUR stars. Actually, it doesn't have any star. Rooms are too small, with almost no furniture, walls are thin an falling appart. The bathroom is so small you can barely enter. Tiles in the bathroom are old, different, disorderly repaired, toilet leaks, the light does... More

PERFECT LOCATION, two minutes from Baščaršija. But... I'm not sure, I think the room number 103was in question, which is located in front of the common terrace, next to exit the next room, and there are only translucent curtains through which anyone can look into the room at any time of the day. The main windows are at the top... More

unclean floor, bed, bathroom. Too small room (hard to get in the bathroom, hard to walk around the bed because of so little of space). Bathroom is without hairdryer and shampoo. Dirty, ugly and small. I dont recommend this hotel to anyone.
