There's good reason the food at Federal Grove Restaurant has earned the reputation as some of the finest in Southern Kentucky. Last Saturday we brought some friends from Ohio to visit this intriguing old home which dates to 1860 and operates as a B& B with a restaurant serving lunch Thur to Saturday and Dinner on Friday and Saturday. Despite... More

The Federal Grove makes you feel like you are traveling back in time. It is a traditional farm house which was nestled at one time in rich farm land. The rooms are spacious and u dine amongst family heirlooms and antiques. Tables are set up in the original dining room to various smaller family rooms. I describe the food like... More

When visiting relatives in Auburn, I had eaten several times at the restaurant that is part of this Bed & Breakfast location, and always thought that the food was delicious. On our recent trip my wife and I decided to stay in one of the rooms upstairs in this old colonial mansion. We were very glad that we did. It... More

We stayed at the bed and breakfast for an anniversary get away. The town of Auburn had nothing to offer so plan to just sit in the room or outside. The food was amazing and the portions were huge but we had to pay for dinner separate from our room. Breakfast was supposed to be included in the price of... More

I recently chose to stay here while in the area for work. So glad I did! Terry is so kind and gracious, the perfect hostess. The inn is cozy and comfortable, just like being at home. The breakfast Terry served us was amazing and beautiful. Great little adventure and definitely worth a trip back! Thanks for the awesome hospitality!

A friend and I recently lunched at the Federal Grove Restaurant, and it was totally delightful. The chicken salad, fruit, and bread offerings were absolutely wonderful, the wait staff was knowledgeable and accommodating, and the service was impeccable. I only wish I could have stuffed one more bite in my mouth for dessert. When I am anywhere near there on... More

Had lunch there on a Saturday. Menu is one page and carries a nice variety. They always have the meat plus two selection. Fried Chicken tenders, country ham, roast that will melt in your mouth. All kinds of vegetables. We all felt everything was seasoned perfect. Deserts also out of this world. Limited days and nights of operation, I guess... More

Made reservations for my husbands birthday. Our first time visit and we were not disappointed. Only problem is we both ate too much but could not stop ourselves. Southern cooking at it’s best. Very friendly and hospitable. We are going back and taking friends and family. The house is very lovely and inviting. Highly recommend if you like southern cooking.

We had our family reunion there this past weekend 8/4/12. We had made reservation weeks in advance with an aproximate number that would be attending. We gave the final head count on Friday (Just a few more than told at the time of booking) . My expectations were high as several members of our family had eaten there at lunch... More
