So, for those who wish to experience the real Soviet service, you are more than welcome to Orbita. Reception lady will hardly notice you are there and waiting for her, and if she notices you than don't be surprised when you receive "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" attitude :) That was awesome! Next thing I could imagine her in leather costume... More

First thing that I want to say that it is really overpriced for what you get! If it was half price then I'd write "good value for money" :)) The hotel is rather nice, the location is good. The breakfast is impressive... but only if you come short time after the beginning - one morning we came at 10 (the... More

Tipical ex-Soviet property somewhat refurbished. You have to walk a long path to get your B-fast but you’ll get a nice one. There’s no free Wi-Fi and you should buy access card which is not expensive at all. Sound proofing is not very good so check your luck with neighbors. It was very cold in the room which was good... Well, like most things In Belarus, it's relative. Wonderful staff and convenient. The breakfast was fairlt good, too. But it is a big concrete monolith with no charm or character and fairly pricey for what you get.

NEGATIVES: 1. Rooms (I stayed in 2 different rooms) both stank like cigarettes, even with the window open 2. Badly needs remodeling--I was afraid to touch the bed spread, the curtails are old, the carpet needs replacing 3. Customer Service is 0. The ladies at the front desk do understand English but they do little to help the customers. We... More

Was not very pleased staying in this hotel: the room had an awful smell to it (my best guess is moldy carpet), the bed was tiny and uncomfortable, the view was of an ugly concrete courtyard and run down buildings, the location was anything but central. Would NEVER stay here again.

These 3 stars are relative to other Belorussian hotels, not to West-European counterparts. Room was clean and very OK but restaurant was a mess. Tablecloths were dirty, we looked long time for more or less cleaner table, no luck. Food was bad, but this is general issue in Belorussia. Desk service was spot on and professional and price level is... More

We arrived early morning and the hotel arranged for aiport pickup around 50 euros, which was supposed to be only 35 euros, but due to delay in our flight, additional charges were made. The receptionist managed very well to allocate rooms to 7 people within a short period of time considering that she must have been very sleepy. The single... More

The (female) receptionists are looking very nice and professional, but they have missed the lessons in customer friendliness. In this department they are still in the communist era. Lesson learnt: the body is there ( make-up, fake nails, gsm, perfume, .... ) but the mind is still far off. Although I'm not the biggest fast food fan, I witnessed that... More

Initial impression was ok, budget accomodation within sensible distance to the city center. When they've changed the towels after first night, suddenly out of three there were only two of them left in the bedroom. I haven't paid much attention to that fact, however during checkout they've accused me of stealing the missing towel (stealing a towel in *** hotel... More
