The Hotel Orbita is located on a ring road outside of the city centre of Minsk, but is easily reached by car or by the metro system (four stops from the centre with the Pushkinskaya station immediately outside of the hotel for just BYR2500 / €0.20). There is a Mcdonald’s restaurant opposite together with other shops and eating places. My... More

OK, I know we are in Belarus, so a certain kind of Soviet approach should be considered, and in general I could also appreciate it. But, at Soviet time (or just a few years after), those hotels intended for foreign guests were maybe a bit strange, but with up to date features and most of the time good restaurants. This... More

This place won't win any awards for outside appearance or architecture but was OK to stay in. It is a bit outside the centre but is next door to a subway station which is fast and frequent. Our room was clean and comfortable, if a bit stuffy but out tour operator chose the room so we probably got a 'cheap'... More

The Hotel looks like a drab Soviet era hotel and a bit far from the center of town, however easily accessed by the subway. Found the staff were very friendly and looked like supermodels. They had a good buffet breakfast.

If it was completely my choice I would definitely pick up another hotel in Minsk, this one is very Soviet. Awful ugly interiors & decoration in the rooms, soviet standards of service like long procedure of room control on check-out. However it wasn't very bad, rooms clean, breakfasts very nice although very crowded so each cup of coffee was obtained... More

I wondered where to stay in Minsk, so I sent e-mails to several hotels. Orbita responded very fast (within 2 hours) and gave me booking confirmation, which I could submit to Belorussian embassy and get visa. It was nice that can check it already at 1200 and no need to wait till 1400 or so. There was some renovations going... More

I have stayed in this hotel in Feb'13 for a couple of nights. It was 10th floor. So this review will be for this floor. The point is that there are different types of rooms per floor. Seems the higher the better :). Room looked like usual USSR hotel :). It's trendy now :) What I liked that the room... More

So, for those who wish to experience the real Soviet service, you are more than welcome to Orbita. Reception lady will hardly notice you are there and waiting for her, and if she notices you than don't be surprised when you receive "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" attitude :) That was awesome! Next thing I could imagine her in leather costume... More

First thing that I want to say that it is really overpriced for what you get! If it was half price then I'd write "good value for money" :)) The hotel is rather nice, the location is good. The breakfast is impressive... but only if you come short time after the beginning - one morning we came at 10 (the... More

Tipical ex-Soviet property somewhat refurbished. You have to walk a long path to get your B-fast but you’ll get a nice one. There’s no free Wi-Fi and you should buy access card which is not expensive at all. Sound proofing is not very good so check your luck with neighbors. It was very cold in the room which was good...
