Minsk Hotel is old, tired and dirty. The first room I was given was a musky-smelling old cubicle with threadbare carpets. The receptionist was sullen and rude. It was only when I insisted and threatened to sleep in the lobby that I was reluctantly given a slightly better room. Thankfully, I spent only one night at the hotel. Breakfast was... More

I am well-travelled and unfussy but even I was pleasantly surprised at the size & comfort of my courtyard-facing room on the 4th floor. The restaurant is very pleasant + the lobby and bar v welcoming. Whilst I could easily stay at any of the international chain hotels (business is paying), I'd far rather choose somewhere like this that is... More

I have been here 4/5 times over the last 4 years and one night on their hard beds is enough but the second night is tough because your still "bruised" from the first night's non sleep experience. Breakfast is not very nice in my view. Add to that the old Soviet style feel of the place, its a pity that... More

I have never seen so small room. Actually the bathroom is almost as big as the bedroom. Nevertheless it is clean and staff is ok. Breakfast is just not acceptable for those like me that cannot eat salty at breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel, some others in Minsk are better for the same price (expensive anyway!).

This is supposed to be the best hotel in the country and it probably is but keep in mind where you are and what standards you should expect. It is a typical soviet style hotel, which once upon the time must have been grand and not much has been done since then. First of all the location of the hotel... More

Very basic state owned hotel, with poor and cold rooms, underdeveloped and illogically designed common facilities and unfriendly service. On a positive side, the hotel is safe and has good location with convenient access to major spots. Not expensive taxis are available always in front of hotel. Try to find another option, such as Europe hotel.

Deeply disappointing stay. Great location, but the room is small and tired. The bedside light doesn't work and the wifi is very, very slow. The most frustrating thing, however, is the gym - I'm on a health programme at the moment and chose this hotel as it had a gym. But this evening when I went down to use it,... More

I stayed in standard room. Two beds, small room, yet with good air ventilation - the non-smoking floor had no smoke smells as it often happens in other hotels. Bathroom is clean. WiFi in the room had excellent speed - iTunes had downloaded several movies within 5 hours. Impressive for a free internet access. Breakfast was very good in the... More

We also stayed at this hotel as part of our Globus tour. It is a nice hotel in a lovely city. The three story underground shopping mall is across from the hotel. We had a lovely dinner at the hotel with vodka and champagne. The bar was a nice place to meet up and share some stories in the evening.... More
