The Yubileyni is a museum piece of Soviet-era large concrete hotel to the very last detail. "Gostinica" at it's best with all the trappings, guest card, keeping your passport at reception and so on... Rooms are adequately priced and the location is o.k. in walking distance from a central subway station. Breakfast is original old soviet standard with gray sausages,... More

Most people would not come to Minsk to spend a cozy vacation time. However the city is spotlessly clean and has interesting sites to offer. Also, there are some good choices for more modern restaurants right in the center. However, the Yubileiny is a former Intourist hotel and still radiates this atmosphere. My room was adequate, but on the cold... More

We arrived Minks by car, and we would recommend either having a map pre-routed entering Minks with directions as our GPS had maybe 4 roads on it, in a city one fourth of the size of New York, and where all signs are written in Cyrillic. The hotel is located very centrally down-town. The city of Minsk was surprisingly modern,... More

This is a good hotel, yet not so expensive. There is a big varity of food options in breakfast buffet, which is very helpful for foreign travellers,as language is a problem in this Russian speaking country. Rooms are clean with clean attached toilets, all basic amenities

A very standard hotel in the last remnant of the former Soviet Union. The bed was OK, but the "service" with a phone call every night asking if you wanted "professional" "massage" was simply despicable and sad - and made the stay taste really, really bad. People at the reception were OK, not much smile, but they did answer simple... More

The hotel is exactly what one would (or should, if you have no experience of these kind of places) expect from a soviet-era hotel. It is large, not particularly welcoming, but functional. Everything was clean, although in places a little shabby. The staff were fine, if not the most friendly. Breakfast was not amazing, but perfectly satisfactory. On the plus... More

Staying in this hotel, you feel like being back in the USSR. You get a chilly welcome at the reception. Corridors are dark. Rooms are rather small, decoration and furniture appear to be dating back to when this hotel was originally built. Same for the bathroom. The only exception was a flatscreen TV on the wall. I was amused by... More

Was on the 4. floor in un-renovated room. Nice size. TV (no english), fridge and nice shower. No AC which can be an issue. Breakfast below par for such a hotel. Located near metro. Wi-fi in the room. Nice view. Madrasses neat to be replaced soon, but for now ok. All in all an ok hotel, but 100 Euro for... More

I was staying in hotel for 4 days during ERJC in Minsk in 2013. Hotel is nice and clean, but a little out-dated and old-fashioned. Rooms are OK but kind of small. There is a TV and air condition which was important for me. The best things are location and view. It is very close to city centar and bus... More
