This is a fully functioning business hotel refurbished to "western" standards. Make sure you get a room with a square view; the street theatre is far more entertaining than anything you'll find on the TV! This has to be the best hotel for business users and opera goers (60s brutalist style opera house just over the road). But those wishes... more

I organized my wedding at the La Perla Restaurant at the Tirana International Hotel. The staff was very frindly and the event manager was very helpfull. Everything worked out wonderfully and I couldn't be happier. The hotel gave us a Suit Room and I could see myself how nice the hotel's rooms where. At the morning we had a very... more

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi in the lobby, in the room internet is with cable. It is a bit expensive, but you get a good international standard hotel. Ask for a room with a view on the Skanderbeg square, looks nice at the night. Breakfast was also good, but nothing fancy. Free gym at the basement.... more

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the hotel. In fact, it was probably one of the most decent hotels I stayed in during my three week trip there and through the Balkan countries. Although the decor of the room could have used some updating, it was fairly large and the bathroom was more than... more

Okay one must remember that Albania at present is said to be the second poorest country in all of Europe after Macedonia? So I was expecting alot less from their hotels but I was pleasantly suprised. Firstly the Tirana has the best location in the whole of the City, located right on the corner of the huge Main Square of... more

Stayed here for one night with family in September and had a very enjoyanle stay. It is excellently located on Skanderbeg Square in the heart of Tirana. Our rooms were on the 9th floor and had excellent views across this bustling square and the city centre. We just arrived in Tirana and with little or no idea of where we... more

The hotel is right in the middle of the city. It overlooks the main square and you have a great view. The room I originally reserved was facing the back, so I upgrade for three more euros a night to get a room facing the main square. That was worth it. The room was pretty old, but nice. The a/c... more

The hotel is well located and decent quality (high quality for albanian standard). Terrible experience with their marketing department. Me and my wife reserved with expedia for one night a double sized bed executive room. At arrival where told they did not receive any information from expedia, and no double sized bed executive room was available. We could get a... more

When in Tirana I normally stay at the Rogner but this time I was forced to stay at the Tirana International due to fully booked Rogner. I must say I hope I will never have to go there again. On my arrival my room was not ready and I had to wait without much apologies or explanations for two hours... more

I was very pleasantly surprised to find such excellency in Tirana. I had a comfortable nice room overlooking the square (it is worth to pay a few Euros extra for this view!). Staff was very efficient and friendly. The high class restaurant was superb, although I only had a small dish and the wine from Montenegro is absolutely comparable to... more
