This is a typical hostel, but since Albania is not a typical country, it was very nice to find. Central Tirana is very accessible from the hostel. The rooms are what you would expect in a hostel, as are the washrooms. But for the price, location and social opportunities, it is a great place to stay. more

We heard about this hostel in the Lonely Planet Guide and decided to give it a go. Most of the staff were very friendly, and the garden was lovely (with some tortoises wandering around it quite happily). Its very basic and they could do with another bathroom, but at 12 euros a night you can't really argue. more
