Looking for a hotel near the business area? This is the right spot. Placed in Malabo central avenue you will reach business offices and government buildings very easy. The rooms are small. The swimming pool it's great The restaurant is expensive but the food it's ok.

Only used as a stop over so cant be too detailed. Bedroom was clean and comfortable and as mentioned elsewhere uses a pod style bathroom with warm water on tap (which seems to be quite rare even in the 5 star Mongomo hotel). I almost fell over coming out of the bathroom because there is an unexpected step but after... More

Ibis Malabo, though not a very large hotel, is well-maintained and in very serene locality. Had dinner by the pool-side, it was adequately good, a la carte, mainly because the chef is a very pleasant person and he personally attended to all present. Service by the rest of the staff was good. As a no-frills, economical hotel, Ibis is definitely... More

Being regularly in Mabalo, and staying in various hotels, this one is my favourite. Compared with the other local hotels its clean & tidy and has welcoming staff on front reception. The hotel has Wifi, a restaurant, a large swimming pool and conference facilities. There isn't a great selection in the restaurant but of what they do offer, it does... More

Stayed there in Jun/July2013. Very basic ,no frills hotel (normal for Ibis), quite a new property well laid out in Malabo 2 area. Only recreation offered is a swimming pool but it closes @ 6, which is the time working people come back, so no opportunity to take advantage of this. Well serviced and friendly.. Staff make an effort to... More

Ibis Malabo, Equatorial Guinea Having visited this place several times I kind of new what to expect. Ibis is a semi-budget business hotel group which fills the market between 4-5 Star and the lower end of the market. Its operates by having new buildings with very clean but very basic architecture that are easy and cheap to maintain. Services and... More
