July 1997 The resort is one of the best resorts in the world! Nestled at the edge of the tiny island, the resort has everything to make you feel like royalty! I have rcently been based on the island of Grande Comore and have visited the location of the Galawa Beach Hotel. It is fantastic. Unfortunately the owners of the hotel pulled out due to corrupt government officials demanding kickbacks, in particular the leader of the security forces.
