It's always great to stay in a nice hotel. Always. By nice I mean...when you enter you re greeted promptly by courteous people in a clean lobby and when you enter your room it smells good and it's clean. Seems pretty basic...right? But it does;t always happen...well it rarely happens. Today I drove 700 miles by myself...not a lot by... More

This is the best hotel in Ashland. The hotel is conveniently located off of US60. The property is one of the better Fairfield Inns that you will find. The rooms are modern and clean, with comfortable beds. Most rooms offer microwaves and fridges. The staff is very welcoming and there is plenty of parking. Restaurants are a bit of a... More

Very safe area and just a few minutes from the expressway. Nice stream behind the hotel were you can hear the frogs chirping at night. The room was clean and comfortable. The hall way floors could be a little tidier. The bed was on the firm side, but comfortable. If you're a light sleeper, the walls are a little thin.... More

We needed a place to stay for the night and stopped here. Appears to be a newer property. Everything was clean. Bathrooms were small. Parking was kind of limited. We got there after dark and the lack of lighting on the road in front of the hotel made finding the entrance difficult. Usual breakfast items, everything was ok.

I stayed here for a couple days on during a weekend. Upon arrival, parking was easy. I stepped up to check in and the reception was friendly and efficient. They were also neat and tidy. The desk area was organized and their uniforms were professionally worn. The lobby was newer looking and well situated. My room was spacious. I had... More

Some of my favorite hotels are in small mid-west towns. Unbelievably nice sometimes because it is just so surprising...Pikeville, Ky Hilton Garden Inn, Lousville east Fairfield Inn come to mind. These hotels give a great customer experience. The Fairfield Inn Ashland is not one of these hotels. So here is the story. They have a drinking water ban in place so... More

There is nothing particularly memorable about this hotel. The room was clean and breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The lady at the front desk was very nice about getting us some extra toiletries as one of our bags had got left behind by accident. Fairly new exterior and plenty of room for parking but hotel is right on a... More

We stayed here while attending a friend's wedding. Lodging options in Ashland seem limited, and this was the hotel our friends negotiated a group rate with. First, It is located on a busy highway. We had a room facing the parking lot and highway. Needless to say it was noisy. Second, we had a made a reservation about a month... More

Stayed two nights November 2014. Hotel seems fairly new inside and out. Nice large, quiet double queen room with a desk, extra chair and closet. Clean and modern bath, comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast is in an annex to the lobby. Food is typical Marriott/Fairfield self serve with a southern twist: selection of cereals, some type of white... More

We have stayed in many Fairfield Inns, and this was one of the cleanest and best updated. The staff was very helpful with recommending a restaurant in Ashville, (Bel Fonte was fantastic) and in general were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. A+ all around!
